      Advice: Harris will get the first crack at the leadoff spot with Ronald Acuña Jr. now out for the season with his torn ACL. With Harris in the leadoff spot, he has the chance to be driven in by Austin Riley, Matt Olson and a plethora of other quality hitters in the Atlanta lineup.       Kodai Senga (shoulder) played catch on the field prior to the doubleheader against the Dodgers on Tuesday.

      Advice: It’s the first time that Senga has been able to play catch since he was shut down with inflammation in his triceps. The right-hander has been on the 60-day injured list since the start of the season because of shoulder issues, and the expectation now is that Senga won’t be able to return for the Mets — and fantasy players — until around the All-Star break.       Senga (shoulder) may not be ready to return from the 60-day injured list until after the All-Star break, Will Sammon of The Athletic reports.

      Advice: The right-hander has had a couple delays and setbacks during his recovery from a posterior right capsule strain. After getting a cortisone injection late last week, Senga played catch on flat ground for the first time Tuesday, per Anthony DiComo of MLB.com. Still, the 31-year-old is essentially back to square one with his throwing program. Given that Senga will likely need about six weeks to ramp back up and get game ready, a mid-July return would seem to be the best-case scenario.       Harris went 1-for-3 with a walk, a run scored and a stolen base in Monday's loss to the Nationals.

      Advice: Batting seventh in an Atlanta lineup that got juggled around in the wake of a season-ending knee injury to Ronald Acuna, Harris reached base twice for the fourth time in the last six games. The 23-year-old center fielder is still looking to regain his usual form, but he's showing signs of heating up -- over his last 16 contests, he's slashing .290/.333/.403 with two of his five homers and three of his eight steals on the year.       Valdez (3-3) took the loss against Seattle on Monday, allowing three runs on six hits and three walks while striking out four batters over six innings.

      Advice: Valdez looked to be in for a rough night after giving up three runs on four hits in the first inning, but he settled in from there and yielded just two hits and no runs the rest of the way. That allowed him to squeak by with a quality start, though he nonetheless ended with his second straight loss. Valdez gave up eight runs over five frames against the Angels in his previous appearance, so this was a decent bounce-back despite the difficult first inning.     • Framber Valdez turns in quality start in loss
      Framber Valdez surrendered three runs in six innings Monday in a no-decision versus the Mariners.

      Advice: All of the runs scored in the first, an inning that could have been much worse if Jake Meyers didn’t cover half of the outfield to chase down a Cal Raleigh fly with the bases loaded. Valdez still gave up four hits that inning, but he allowed just two more the rest of the way. Nevertheless, he still took the loss in a 3-2 game, leaving him 3-3 with a 4.34 ERA for the season.       Adames went 2-for-4 with a three-run homer in Monday's victory over the Cubs.

      Advice: Adames popped his first home run since May 7 when he crushed a 427-foot, three-run shot off Hayden Wesneski in the eighth inning. The Brewers shortstop hopes the homer turns his month around, as he entered the game slashing .213/.253/.404 over 99 plate appearances in May.       Willy Adames went 2-for-4 with a three-run home run against the Cubs on Monday.



      Advice: Adames came to the plate with two men on and one out in a 1-0 game in the eighth inning. He blasted a Hayden Wesneski offering to center for a no-doubt home run. The home run was Adames’ eighth of the season and he already has a career-high eight stolen bases.

      Reds manager David Bell said Monday that Friedl (thumb) could return as soon as late this week or early next week, Charlie Goldsmith of The Cincinnati Enquirer reports.

      Advice: Just six games into his return from a fractured right wrist, Friedl suffered a broken left thumb as a result of a hit-by-pitch. Fortunately for Friedl and the Reds, it doesn't sound like he will have to miss nearly as much action this time around. Bell has already said he thinks Friedl could bypass a rehab assignment.
