    • Fernando Tatis Jr. drives in one in loss
Fernando Tatis Jr. went 1-for-3 with a walk and an RBI in a loss to the Royals on Sunday.

Advice: Tatis Jr. gave the Padres a 2-1 lead in the eighth inning with a run-scoring single that should have been enough to close this one out. It was his 31st RBI of the season and while the 25-year-old hasn’t truly exploded at any point this year, he could easily finish the season with 30 home runs and 20 steals, which is impressive work. If he can keep his batting average around .270, he should still put up fringe first-round value even though he hasn’t stood out as an elite fantasy player at any stretch this season. • Cedric Mullins goes 0-for-4 before being lifted
Cedric Mullins went 0-for-4 before being lifted for a pinch-hitter Sunday versus the Rays.

Advice: It says a lot that the Orioles hit for Mullins against a righty. The team hoped he was breaking out of his slump a couple of weeks ago, but he’s 1-for-20 with a 7/0 K/BB ratio since May 24, dropping his season line to .181/.225/.319. He’s a tough guy to drop in fantasy leagues, since he can be very valuable when he’s on (he just had six homers and six steals in April), but this is ugly right now. He does have options left, so the Orioles could choose to send him down for a few weeks. Rotoworld Yesterday, 1:47 pm
    • Heading to bench Sunday
Fry is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Nationals.

Advice: Fry will head to the bench after a stretch of six consecutive starts during which he slashed .333/.462/.667 with three extra-base hits, one stolen base, eight RBI and five runs. Five of his last six starts came in left field, but with Steven Kwan back from the injured list, Fry could end up seeing most of his opportunities at designated hitter moving forward. Kyle Manzardo represents Fry's primary competition for playing time at DH, but both will be on the bench Sunday while Jose Ramirez gets a day off from third base and but sticks in the starting nine in a non-defensive role. • Getting Sunday off
O'Hearn is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Rays.

Advice: The lefty-hitting O'Hearn typically hits the bench against left-handed pitchers, but he'll get a breather versus a righty (Zack Littell) for the series finale. Adley Rutschman will get a day off from catching and will start at designated hitter in place of O'Hearn, who had been included in the lineup in each of the previous five games. • Fernando Tatis Jr. has three hits, HR in victory
Fernando Tatis Jr. homered and went 3-for-4 in a 7-3 win for the Padres over the Angels on Saturday.

Advice: Tatis Jr. got the party started for the Padres with a solo homer in the first inning off Alec Marsh. The 25-year-old also singled twice and drew a walk for a four-reach day. Tatis hasn’t been spectacular in the first 60-plus games of the season, but he’s up to 10 homers, 30 RBI and six stolen bases with a .772 OPS. It’d be surprising if those number didn’t shoot up over the next few months, if not weeks. Rotoworld Saturday, 4:52 pm
    • Three hits, homer vs. Royals
Tatis went 3-for-4 with a walk and a solo home run in Saturday's 7-3 win over Kansas City.

Advice: Tatis opened the scoring in the first inning with a 422-foot solo shot off Alec Marsh, his 10th homer of the season. The 25-year-old Tatis has at least one hit in his last seven games, going 11-for-29 (.379) in that span. He's now slashing .261/.340/.433 with 38 runs scored, 30 RBI and six stolen bases across 268 plate appearances this year. Rotowire.com Saturday, 4:36 pm
    • Day off Saturday
Mullins is not in the starting lineup Saturday versus Tampa Bay.

Advice: Mullins will get a breather after going 1-for-12 with a triple, two RBI and a run scored while starting the last four games. Colton Cowser will slide over to center field while Kyle Stowers enters the lineup in left field and bats eighth against the Rays. Rotowire.com Saturday, 9:21 am
    • Homers again in win
Fry went 1-for-3 with a three-run home run and a walk in Friday's 7-1 win over the Nationals.

Advice: The homer was Fry's fourth in his last eight games. The 28-year-old has enjoyed a memorable May, going 23-for-60 (.383) with seven homers and 18 RBI over 21 contests for the month. He's slashing .352/.485/.629 with eight homers, 27 RBI, 27 runs scored and four stolen bases over 40 games this season. Fry offers a right-handed option at multiple positions, though he's unlikely to be needed in left field as much with Steven Kwan back from a hamstring injury. Fry's bat has been hot enough to force a few tough decisions into manager Stephen Vogt's lineup choices moving forward. Rotowire.com Friday, 9:16 pm

    • David Fry stays hot, homers again
David Fry went 1-for-3 with a home run, three RBI, and a walk in a win over the Nationals on Friday.

Advice: What else is there to say about Fry? This long ball was his third in six games and it’s getting more and more difficult to deny his blazing hot start. He’s slashing a remarkable .365/.485/.629 with the plate discipline and batted ball metrics to match his production. Rotoworld Friday, 6:37 pm
