The right-hander came into the campaign with a loose grip on the ninth-inning role for the Padres but has emerged as one of the league's top first-half closers with 16 saves (in 16 chances) while posting a 0.73 ERA, 0.69 WHIP and 24:5 K:BB over 24.2 innings.       Robert Suarez tossed a scoreless inning and picked up the save against the Marlins on Monday.

      Advice: The save was Suarez’ 16th of the season. He lowered his ERA to 0.73 on the season. While the Padres’ closer situation was ambiguous going into the season, Suarez has grabbed the job and run with it to the point where he’s been one of the best closers in all of fantasy this season.       LaMonte Wade Jr. has a strained left hamstring and will undergo an MRI on Tuesday.

      Advice: Wade appeared to be grabbing his left knee before exiting Monday's game, but after further evaluation, it's been determined that he's dealing with a hamstring issue. The team has yet to comment further on whether a trip to the 10-day injured list will be required, but it seems likely given the nature of the injury, along with the fact that Wade will undergo an MRI on Tuesday, according to Andrew Baggarly of The Athletic.       LaMonte Wade Jr., who has been dealing with a left hamstring issue, left Monday’s game in the fifth inning with an apparent left leg injury.

      Advice: Wade awkwardly slammed his left leg into the bag sliding into second on a double, but it looked like he might have tweaked the hamstring prior to that. He had his arm around the trainer as he walked off, so this could be more than a day-to-day kind of thing this time.       Advice: Wade doubled off the wall in the bottom of the fifth inning but came up lame and had to be removed for a pinch-runner.       Jarren Duran went 0-for-5 with three strikeouts on Monday in the Red Sox’ loss to the Orioles.

      Advice: Duran has been mired in a little bit of a funk lately, batting .233 (7-for-30) with one homer and one steal over his last seven contests. It’s an extremely small sample size, but if we frame out a bit more, he’s hitting .262 (32-for-122) with just two homers and three steals over his last 30 contests. The 27-year-old has shown glimpses of immense fantasy potential as a power/speed combo threat, but it hasn’t quite come together completely this season as he sits at only three homers and 11 steals through Memorial Day.       Suarez picked up the save in Sunday's 5-2 win over the Yankees, striking out two while allowing one run on two hits in 1.1 innings.

      Advice: Suarez came in with two runners on and two out in the eighth to face Aaron Judge and bested him with a strikeout. He returned for the ninth and started off by allowing a home run to Alex Verdugo but was able to get the job done from there. The home run was the first run Suarez has given up since March 28. He continues to be one of the most dominant closers in baseball this year, as he's now tied for third with 15 saves and owns a 0.76 ERA, 0.72 WHIP and 23:5 K:BB in 23.2 innings.
