    • Ends Game 2 of twin bill with save
Iglesias notched a save in the second game of Monday's doubleheader against the Padres, striking out one batter in a perfect inning of work.

Advice: Atlanta got seven dominant scoreless innings from Chris Sale before Pierce Johnson took over with a scoreless frame in the eighth. Iglesias then completed the shutout with a perfect 13-pitch ninth. The veteran closer hasn't posted his usual big strikeout numbers with just a 12:5 K:BB over 18.1 innings, but he's converted 11 of 13 save chances this season while registering a 2.45 ERA and 1.15 WHIP. • Yainer Diaz does 2-for-4, scores twice in loss
Yainer Diaz went 2-for-4 with a double and an RBI against the Angels on Monday.

Advice: Diaz was also robbed of a possible homer by Jo Adell at the right field wall in the ninth. That was actually his softest hit ball of the night. His EVs in the game were 110.7 mph, 107.8 mph, 103.7 mph and 98.4 mph. His hard-hit rate now stands at 51%, which is particularly impressive in combination with a 14% strikeout rate. • Iglesias gets 11th save Monday
Raisel Iglesias pitched a scoreless ninth inning to earn his 11th save of the season against the Padres on Monday.

Advice: Iglesias had allowed one run in three of his previous six appearances, which included one blown save. He got the Padres to go quietly with a clean ninth inning to preserve the Braves 3-0 shutout victory. Iglesias had the last two days off and only threw 13 pitches so he should be well rested for his next appearance.

    • J.P. Crawford (oblique) activated by Mariners
Mariners activated SS J.P. Crawford from the 10-day injured list.

Advice: Crawford’s pregame workout today was impressive enough to get him back on the roster tonight after his absence due to an oblique strain and a subsequent bruised hand, but he won’t return to the starting lineup until tomorrow. Dylan Moore will return to his utility role then after spending the last 3 1/2 weeks as a starting shortstop. Rotoworld Monday, 3:47 pm
    • José Berríos goes six in defeating White Sox
José Berríos defeated the White Sox by allowing three runs in six innings on Monday.

Advice: Three things worked in favor of Berríos on a day in which he was lacking his best stuff: he was facing the White Sox, he had CB Bucknor working his own special brand of magic behind the plate and he was facing the White Sox. Berríos allowed eight hits, including a Paul DeJong homer that was the seventh he’s surrendered in his last five outings. He’s currently 5-3 with a 2.98 ERA. Rotoworld Monday, 3:39 pm

    • Another quality start in in victory
Berrios (5-3) earned the win Monday against the White Sox, allowing three runs on eight hits and two walks over six innings. He struck out six.

Advice: With the 100-pitch effort, Berrios collected his first win since April 20 and second consecutive quality start. The Blue Jays right-hander has posted an impressive eight quality starts in 10 total games started. Berrios owns a 2.98 ERA, 1.11 WHIP and 48:18 K:BB in 60.1 innings this season. He is scheduled to face the Tigers on the road in his next start this weekend. Rotowire.com Monday, 3:30 pm

    • Activated but not starting Monday
The Mariners activated Crawford (oblique) from the 10-day injured list Monday, Daniel Kramer of MLB.com reports.

Advice: The Mariners put Crawford through a full pregame workout Monday, which is surely the reason why he's not in the lineup. He will be available off the bench, though, before likely returning to the starting nine Tuesday. Dylan Moore will handle shortstop again Monday. Rotowire.com Monday, 3:28 pm
    • Likely to be activated Tuesday
Crawford (oblique) will go through a pregame workout Monday before likely being activated from the injured list Tuesday, Ryan Divish of The Seattle Times reports.

Advice: Crawford is with the Mariners in New York and insists he's ready to go, but the club wants to see him get through a workout first before it brings him back. He's been out since late April with a Grade 1 right oblique strain. Dylan Moore is handling shortstop again for Seattle on Monday. Rotowire.com Monday, 1:06 pm
    • Shaky results in no-decision
Montgomery allowed four runs on five hits and two walks while striking out three in six innings Sunday against the Tigers. He did not factor into the decision.

Advice: Montgomery surrendered a third-inning home run to Spencer Torkelson, and the Tigers got to him for additional runs in the fifth and sixth. He came back out to begin the seventh and allowed a leadoff walk before exiting the game for good, and that runner eventually came around to score. Montgomery managed to reach six innings for the fourth time in six starts but has not struck out more than four batters in any of those four outings. Though a small sample size, Montgomery's strikeout rate this year is on pace to be the lowest of his career, and he's also walked multiple batters in four straight starts. The 31-year-old owns a 4.98 ERA, 1.37 WHIP and 20:11 K:BB in 34.1 innings. He lines up for a home meeting with the Marlins his next time on the mound. Rotowire.com Monday, 6:53 am
