Thomas went 3-for-4 with a three-run home run, an additional run, a double, a walk and two stolen bases in Wednesday's 7-2 win against Atlanta.

Advice: Washington was being shut out by rookie hurler Spencer Schwellenbach until Thomas tagged him for a three-run homer in the fifth inning. That was the biggest highlight of a very productive performance by the outfielder, who added a couple cherries on top with a pair of steals in the ninth frame. This was Thomas' third game back since missing over a month while on the injured list, and he's gone 5-for-13 with four extra-base hits since his return. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 10:20 pm
    • Starting to heat up
Donovan went 3-for-4 with a double and a hit-by-pitch in Wednesday's 5-3 win over the Reds.

Advice: This was Donovan's third multi-hit effort in the last five games. He's now gone 17-for-49 (.347) over his last 13 contests, though he has zero home runs and six doubles in that span. The 27-year-old is up to a .245/.326/.382 slash line with four homers, 25 RBI, 26 runs scored, 14 doubles, one triple and no stolen bases over 233 plate appearances this season. Donovan's lack of steals and mediocre sprint speed -- in the 42nd percentile, per Statcast -- makes him an odd fit for the leadoff role, but that's where he's hit for most of the campaign. Masyn Winn has also seen time at leadoff versus left-handed pitchers recently, but Donovan remains atop the order versus righties. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 9:28 pm

    • Dominic Canzone slugs solo homer in win
Dominic Canzone went 1-for-4 with a solo homer as the Mariners topped the Astros 2-1 on Wednesday.

Advice: Canzone tied the game at one run with a solo homer off Justin Verlander in the fifth inning. It was the only run Seattle would score through nine innings in Wednesday’s pitcher’s duel before winning it in extras. The 26-year-old outfielder is slashing .203/.262/.492 with five homers and nine RBI across 65 plate appearances. Rotoworld Yesterday, 9:26 pm
    • Alex Verdugo homers in win over Angels
Alex Verdugo went 1-for-4 with a solo homer in the Yankees’ 2-1 win over the Angels on Wednesday.

Advice: Despite the Yankees putting five men on base through three frames, they didn’t bring a run in to score until Verdugo’s solo blast off Tyler Anderson to lead off the fourth inning. It was one of only two runs the team would score in Wednesday’s victory. The 28-year-old outfielder is hitting .260/.321/.439 with eight homers and 29 RBI across 221 plate appearances. • Posts steal
Suzuki went 2-for-5 with a stolen base in Wednesday's 10-6 loss to the Brewers.

Advice: Suzuki has gone 8-for-27 (.296) during his six-game hitting streak, though he hasn't posted an extra-base hit since May 15. The outfielder's steal Wednesday was his second of the campaign. He's slashing .254/.312/.389 with four home runs, 16 RBI, 19 runs scored and five doubles over 31 contests. Suzuki isn't having a poor year by any means, especially when factoring in his four-week absence with an oblique injury, but he's also not standing out in any particular area. • Goes deep Wednesday
Perkins went 2-for-4 with a two-run home run and a double in Wednesday's 10-6 win over the Cubs.

Advice: Perkins went yard as part of a five-run third inning for the Brewers. That homer was his first since he hit a long ball against the Cubs on May 4. He hit a poor .164 with a .388 OPS over 20 contests between homers. For the season, Perkins is slashing .232/.318/.361 with five homers, 17 RBI, 25 runs scored, five stolen bases and five doubles across 176 plate appearances while seeing a majority of the playing time in center field. • Ends power drought
Yelich went 2-for-4 with a home run, three RBI and two runs scored in Wednesday's 10-6 win over the Cubs.

Advice: Yelich's last homer was was April 10. He dealt with a back injury that kept him out of the lineup for nearly a month, and his power was the last part of his game to return. The outfielder has gone 20-for-69 (.290) over 18 contests since he returned from the injured list, though he's logged just six extra-base hits in that span. For the season, Yelich is slashing .306/.390/.546 with six homers, 22 RBI, 19 runs scored, seven stolen bases, four doubles and two triples over 29 contests. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 8:44 pm
    • Homers Wednesday
Sanchez went 2-for-5 with a solo home run in Wednesday's 9-1 win over the Padres.

Advice: Sanchez extended Miami's lead to 7-1 in the sixth inning, launching a 412-foot solo shot off Enyel De Los Santos. It's the first homer for Sanchez since April 24 and his third of the season. The 26-year-old outfielder is now slashing .230/.285/.309 through 166 plate appearances with 19 RBI, 12 runs scored and six stolen bases. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 8:12 pm
    • Swipes two bags in win
Gordon went 2-for-4 with a walk, two runs scored and two stolen bases in Wednesday's 9-1 win over San Diego.

Advice: Gordon had gone just 1-for-15 with no stolen bases in seven games coming into Wednesday's contest. He's now slashing .230/.260/.374 on the year with five homers, 18 RBI and 15 runs scored while going 5-for-7 in stolen base attempts. Gordon should continue to serve as the Marlins' primary left fielder against right-handed pitching. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 8:07 pm
