    • Moved down to sixth spot
Bichette will start at shortstop and bat sixth in Wednesday's contest in Philadelphia.

Advice: Bichette had already been dropped down in the Blue Jays' batting order in recent days, and the No. 6 spot is the lowest he has hit since August 2022. The 26-year-old is just 3-for-40 over his last 11 games to drag his season batting line down to an ugly .189/.246/.268. Rotowire.com Today, 8:29 am

    • Big day against Houston
Verdugo went 3-for-5 with a home run and four RBI in Tuesday's 10-3 win over the Astros.

Advice: The 27-year-old got the rout started for the Yankees by launching a three-run homer off Justin Verlander in the bottom of the first inning. Verdugo has gone yard three times in his last eight games while batting .324 (11-for-34), and the surge has boosted his slash line on the season to .275/.362/.450 with five homers, one steal, 17 RBI and 19 runs in 34 contests. • Mashes grand slam in win
Muncy went 2-for-4 with a grand slam and two runs scored in Tuesday's 8-2 win over the Marlins.

Advice: Muncy quickly put the Dodgers ahead with a first-inning grand slam off of Edward Cabrera. It was his sixth career grand slam and fourth home run in his last three games, as he now has eight RBI over that span. Muncy is currently hitting .263, which is well above his career average, and overall is slashing .263/.370/.570 with nine homers, 26 RBI, 22 runs and a 19:40 BB:K in 138 plate appearances. • Max Muncy delivers grand slam in Dodgers’ win
Max Muncy went 2-for-4 and hit a grand slam Tuesday against the Marlins.

Advice: It was his sixth career slam and fourth homer in three games. A career .228 hitter, Munch is at .263 right now, even though his strikeout rate is higher than usual and his exit velocity numbers are pretty typical. He’ll surely continue to put up excellent power numbers, but one should probably expect an average around .220 the rest of the way. Rotoworld Yesterday, 9:56 pm

    • Alex Verdugo drives in four in win over Astros
Alex Verdugo went 3-for-5 with a homer and four RBI in a 10-3 win over the Astros on Tuesday.

Advice: The home run was Verdugo’s fifth on the season and he now has 17 RBI. The big fly wasn’t a Yankee Stadium blast either, with Verdugo hitting it 383 feet at 107.4 mph off the bat. While many expected a power boost for Verdugo moving to Yankee Stadium, he has just a 3.8 percent barrel rate and his lowest fly ball rate since 2021. His HR/FB rate is up, so Verdugo could easily surpass his 13 home runs from last year, but he’s unlikely to see a major surge. Still, his walk rate is the highest it’s ever been and he’s slashing .275/.362/.450 on the season, which will give him fantasy value if he keeps hitting cleanup behind Juan Soto and Aaron Judge. • Stott has two hits, steal in win
Bryson Stott went 2-for-4 with a stolen base in a win over the Blue Jays on Tuesday.

Advice: Stott picked up two singles to up his triple slash to .245/.339/.377 on the year and also swiped his eighth stolen base. Stott has moved around between second base and shortstop since Trea Turner went down with a hamstring injury, and it’s hard to imagine Stott getting many days off over the next six weeks while Turner is out. The power hasn’t been there this year, but the steals are valuable and Stott should get the opportunity to pick up important counting stats while hitting in a good lineup. • Danny Jansen has two hits in loss
Danny Jansen went 2-for-3 with a double and a run scored in a loss to the Phillies on Tuesday.

Advice: Jansen was the only Blue Jay to post multiple hits, lacing a 102.9 mph double and also picking up a 91.7 mph single. The only time he was retired was on a 106.3 mph lineout that had a .660 xBA. Jansen has been good since coming off the IL and is now hitting .325/.426/.700. Given how poorly the rest of the lineup is hitting, Jansen should be in the lineup on most days for the foreseeable future. Rotoworld Yesterday, 6:43 pm
    • Kodai Senga to throw another bullpen this week
Kodai Senga (shoulder) is scheduled to throw another bullpen session this week.

Advice: Senga faced hitters over the weekend in a live batting practice session and could do so again in the coming days before heading out on a minor league rehab assignment. The 31-year-old righty isn’t expected to make his season debut until late May or early June, barring something unexpected. Rotoworld Yesterday, 5:04 pm

    • Returning this weekend
Astros manager Joe Espada said Tuesday that Javier (neck) will return from the injured list this weekend to start against the Tigers, Julia Morales of AT&T SportsNet Southwest reports.

Advice: Javier will return this weekend after missing just under a month due to the neck issue, though it's unclear exactly which day he'll take the mound in Detroit. The 27-year-old threw 68 pitches over 3.1 frames in his lone rehab outing and may face some minor workload limitations in his first outing back with the Astros. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 2:54 pm
