    • Danny Jansen has two hits in loss
Danny Jansen went 2-for-3 with a double and a run scored in a loss to the Phillies on Tuesday.

Advice: Jansen was the only Blue Jay to post multiple hits, lacing a 102.9 mph double and also picking up a 91.7 mph single. The only time he was retired was on a 106.3 mph lineout that had a .660 xBA. Jansen has been good since coming off the IL and is now hitting .325/.426/.700. Given how poorly the rest of the lineup is hitting, Jansen should be in the lineup on most days for the foreseeable future. Rotoworld Yesterday, 6:43 pm

    • Receiving breather Sunday
Jansen is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Nationals.

Advice: Jansen will get a routine maintenance day in the series finale after drawing starts at catcher in each of the Blue Jays' previous three games. Alejandro Kirk will check in for him behind the dish. Rotowire.com Sunday, 10:06 am

    • Danny Jansen collects two hits in win against Nats
Danny Jansen went 2-for-3 with a double and an RBI on Saturday against the Nationals.

Advice: Jansen is off to a hot start at the plate since he was activated from the injured list on April 16. He drove in a run with a double in the first inning. He later drew a walk in the sixth and a knocked a single in the eighth to get on base for Kevin Kiermaier, who drove in two with a two-run homer. The 29-year-old catcher is slashing .306/.419/.694 with three homers, seven runs scored, and four RBI across 43 plate appearances. Rotoworld Saturday, 4:10 pm

    • Slugs third homer
Jansen went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in Wednesday's 6-1 loss to the Royals.

Advice: He spoiled Seth Lugo's shutout bid in the seventh inning, but it was the only bright spot on the day for the Toronto offense. Jansen has three homers since making his season debut April 16, all solo shots, but they've all come in his last four starts. The 29-year-old catcher has gone 8-for-30 (.267) in 10 games, but six of those hits have gone for extra bases, including three doubles. Rotowire.com Thursday, 5:42 am

    • Not starting Tuesday
Jansen is out of the lineup for Tuesday's game against Kansas City.

Advice: Alejandro Kirk will start behind the dish Tuesday as the pair continue to split catching work nearly 50/50. Jansen went 1-for-3 with a homer during Monday's series opener. Rotowire.com Tuesday, 12:33 pm

    • Swats another homer
Jansen went 1-for-3 with a solo home run during Monday's 6-5 win over the Royals.

Advice: Jansen tagged Jonathan Bowlan for a solo homer in the third inning, marking the catcher's second home run in the last three games. After missing the first few weeks of the season with an injury, Jansen is slashing .269/.387/.615 with a 12.9 percent strikeout rate in 31 plate appearances. Rotowire.com Monday, 10:25 pm
