    • Goes yard again
Seaver went 1-for-4 with a solo home run during Tuesday's 7-4 loss to Cleveland.

Advice: Seager took advantage of the Globe Life Field roof being open, swatting a solo home run off Ben Lively in the third inning. The shortstop has hit three home runs in his last eight games and is batting .267 with six RBI and an 11.4 percent K rate during that stretch. Rotowire.com Wednesday, 12:24 am

    • Homers in loss
Seager went 2-for-3 with a walk, a home run and two RBI in Friday's 4-2 loss the Rockies.

Advice: Seager launched a solo home run to lead off the sixth inning and then walked with the bases loaded an inning later. He struggled through the first five weeks of the season -- perhaps attributable to missing much of spring training after undergoing hernia surgery in January -- and his batting average was .219 as of May 2. Since then, Seager has hit safely in six of seven games, going 9-for-28 (.321) with two home runs and seven RBI. Rotowire.com Saturday, 9:37 am

    • Corey Seager homers, drives in two vs. Rockies
Corey Seager homered and drove in two runs in a loss to the Rockies on Friday.

Advice: Seager got the Rangers on the board with a homer, and he drove in another run with a bases-loaded walk that tied the game at 2-2. Things are starting to pick up for the 30-year-old star, but his .239/.314/.345 slash is obviously one of the more disappointing developments of the (early) 2024 campaign. • Corey Seager sits for nightcap on Wednesday
Corey Seager is not in the Rangers’ starting lineup for the nightcap of Wednesday’s doubleheader against the Athletics.

Advice: The 30-year-old superstar shortstop went 0-for-3 with a walk and a strikeout during the first game and is slashing an underwhelming .230/.303/.309 with three homers and 13 RBI on the season. Josh Smith will start in his place at shortstop and bat fifth for the Rangers on Wednesday evening against Osvaldo Bido and the A’s. Rotoworld Wednesday, 3:29 pm

    • Taking seat for nightcap
Seager is not in the lineup for Game 2 of Wednesday's doubleheader versus the Athletics.

Advice: The 30-year-old went 0-for-3 with a walk and a strikeout in the Game 1 loss, which ended a modest five-game hit streak. Josh Smith will shift to shortstop and Ezequiel Duran will start at third base while Seager receives some rest in the nightcap. Rotowire.com Wednesday, 3:22 pm
