    • On bench Tuesday
Wong is out of the lineup for Tuesday's game against Atlanta, Chris Cotillo of The Springfield Republican reports.

Advice: It's the second straight game on the bench for Wong, which is surprising given he's been one of the most productive catchers in baseball with a .950 OPS. Reese McGuire went 2-for-4 with a double and stolen base Sunday and is making his second consecutive start behind the plate Tuesday. Rotowire.com Today, 1:50 pm

    • Taking seat Tuesday
Nevin is out of the lineup for Tuesday's game against the Rangers.

Advice: Nevin started the previous 14 games and posted an .858 OPS during that stretch, though he's now in the midst of an 0-for-14 slump. Brett Harris is starting at third base Tuesday for the fifth straight game, which has resulted in Nevin seeing more action in right field. Rotowire.com Today, 10:29 am

    • Goes deep Monday
Freeman went 1-for-4 with a solo home run against the Marlins in Monday's 6-3 win.

Advice: Though his long ball didn't travel nearly as far, Freeman followed Shohei Ohtani in the first inning Monday as the pair slugged back-to-back homers. Freeman has yet to fully flex his power this season -- he has just three homers through 167 plate appearances -- but he's been otherwise productive, as usual, with a .292/.407/.445 slash line, 21 RBI, 18 runs and a stolen base. The veteran first baseman is also tied for seventh in the league with 10 doubles and tied for fifth with 24 walks. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 10:58 pm
    • Another dominant start
Wheeler (4-3) earned the win Monday against San Francisco, allowing one unearned run on four hits and one walk with 11 strikeouts over seven innings.

Advice: Wheeler didn't allow an earned run for the third time in his last four starts as he shut down the Giants with a season-high 11 strikeouts. After seeing his ERA rise above 3.00 a season ago for the first time since 2019, Wheeler has cruised to a 1.64 ERA across 49.1 innings this season and is tied for the league lead in strikeouts with 63. He'll look to extend his win streak to five next time out, with a tentative matchup with the Marlins on the docket for Sunday. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 9:42 pm
    • Freddie Freeman homers as Dodgers top Marlins
Freddie Freeman hit a solo homer in a victory Monday over the Marlins.

Advice: Freeman went back-to-back with Shohei Ohtani, and his solo blast gave the Dodgers a 3-2 lead. The 34-year-old hasn’t shown a ton of pop in the early portion of the year, as it’s just the third homer for the veteran first baseman in 2024. He’s hitting .292 with a .407 on-base percentage, however, and all of those numbers are sure to climb as we get deeper into the year. Rotoworld Yesterday, 9:30 pm
    • Justin Steele sharp over 4 2/3 in return from IL
Justin Steele fired 4 2/3 shutout innings on Monday in a no-decision against the Padres.

Advice: Steele limited San Diego’s offense to just three hits and one walk, notching a pair of strikeouts, in his return at Wrigley Field following a five-weeks absence due to a hamstring strain. The 28-year-old ace averaged nearly 92 mph on his four-seam fastball in this one and got his pitch count up to 68 (43 strikes) before being lifted in the fifth inning. He’s in line to face the Pirates on Sunday his next time out. Rotoworld Yesterday, 8:42 pm
    • Sharp in return
Steele allowed three hits and a walk over 4.2 scoreless innings in a no-decision Monday. He struck out two during the loss to San Diego.

Advice: Steele made his first start since straining his hamstring during his Opening Day outing. He showed no signs of rust but was clearly on a limit, as he threw only 68 pitches. He gave up one extra-base hit but otherwise kept San Diego's bats quiet. Steele has given up one run through 9.1 innings in two starts this season. The 28-year-old should be able to pitch deeper in his next outing, which is lined up to be in Pittsburgh this weekend. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 8:33 pm
    • Provides all the offense Monday
Greene went 1-for-5 with a solo home run in Monday's 2-1 loss to the Guardians.

Advice: Greene got Detroit on the board early, belting a leadoff home run against Triston McKenzie in the top of the first inning. However, he and his teammates went quiet from there. Fantasy managers won't mind too much, as the young outfielder now has four home runs over his last seven games, which has pushed him up to nine long balls for the season. Greene hit a career-high 11 home runs last year, and it looks like he should fly past that number in 2024. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 5:43 pm

    • Riley Greene hits homer on first pitch versus CLE
Riley Greene went 1-for-5 with a home run on the first pitch of the game against the Guardians on Monday.

Advice: Greene didn’t wait long to get the Tigers on the board, unfortunately for Detroit, it was the only run of the game. The 23-year-old’s solo shot went 424 feet to deep right center field and he now has nine home runs on the season. The only other players with more home runs in baseball this season? Gunnar Henderson, Shohei Ohtani, Marcell Ozuna and Mike Trout. Pretty good company. Greene is slashing .268/.393/.946 with 17 RBI through 35 games this season. Rotoworld Yesterday, 5:40 pm
