      Helsley allowed two walks during a scoreless ninth inning to pick up the save Sunday against the Cubs. He struck out one.

      Advice: Helsley tossed just 11 of 23 pitches for strikes and started behind in the count to four of five batters he faced but still managed to finish off the game for the Cardinals when a drive to the gap by pinch-hitter Patrick Wisdom with two on was snagged by Brendan Donovan to preserve the win. It was another shaky outing for Helsley, who has struggled recently with his command, walking four over his last two appearances. Despite the recent trouble, he maintains an ERA of 2.53 and has converted each of his last 24 save opportunities, last blowing a save March 30 during his first appearance of the season.       Jorge Soler went 2-for-4 with a three-run homer, four RBI and a walk Sunday in leading the Giants to a 13-6 win over the Angels.

      Advice: Soler’s four RBI and three runs scored were both season highs. Even after tonight, he’s still hitting just .224/.309/.383, which isn’t exactly what a team wants from a pure DH.       Corbin Burnes allowed two earned runs in six innings in an 8-3 win over Phillies on Sunday. He struck out seven, walked two, and scattered seven hits.

      Advice: Burnes was incredibly solid again in this one. Not dominant, but spotted a huge lead early and managed to coast behind his stellar cutter and curveball. The victory was his eighth of the season with a sparkling 2.14 ERA. Rotoworld Sunday, 1:48 pm

      Ryan Helsley closed out the Cubs on Sunday. He struck out one, walked two, and stranded both runners on base.

      Advice: Helsley got into some trouble in the ninth inning and was bailed out by Brendan Donovan who made a catch crashing into the ivy at Wrigley Field to end the game.       Perez (knee) will start at designated hitter and bat cleanup in Sunday's game against the Dodgers.

      Advice: Perez is battling a right knee sprain, but it's said to be relatively minor. He'll play through the injury Sunday, albeit in a non-defensive role. It's uncertain when he may return to catching duties. The team recalled Austin Nola from Triple-A Omaha on Saturday, and Nola's presence on the roster affords Perez and the Royals some time to get him right before he slots back in behind the plate.       Advice: Perez was removed Friday after experiencing discomfort in his right knee, and while the backstop did miss Saturday’s game, he’s feeling well enough to be the designated hitter and hit cleanup against the Dodgers in the final game of the three-game set.       DeJong went 2-for-5 with a solo home run in Saturday's win over the Diamondbacks.

      Advice: DeJong put the White Sox ahead with a leadoff home run in the top of the fourth and added a single in the following frame, giving him his second straight multi-hit game. The shortstop is now up to 14 home runs on the campaign, with six of them coming this month and four coming over his last eight games.
