      Advice: In addition to allowing 11 baserunners, Stroman was also on the mound for six of the Red Sox's franchise-best nine steals in the contest. Stroman has had two bad outings and one good one through three starts in June, though Sunday marked his first loss since May 9. The right-hander has maintained a 3.08 ERA despite a 1.30 WHIP and 61:38 K:BB over 84.2 innings through 15 starts this season. He's projected for a home start versus Atlanta in his next outing.     • Marcus Stroman gives up four runs in loss Sunday
      Marcus Stroman struggled in a losing effort against the Red Sox on Sunday night, giving up four runs on seven hits over his five innings of work.

      Advice: The 33-year-old hurler also walked four batters in the ballgame while punching out three. The Red Sox scratched out two runs against him in the second inning on a two-out, two-run single by Ceddanne Rafaela, then tacked on single runs in the third and in the fifth. They also took advantage of Stroman and Jose Trevino on the basepaths, swiping six bases in their five innings. Stroman got seven swings and misses on 102 pitches on the night, posting a CSW of only 24 percent. He’ll look to bounce back as he brings a 3.08 ERA, 1.30 WHIP and a 61/38 K/BB ratio (84 2/3 innings) into Saturday’s matchup against the Braves. Rotoworld Sunday, 7:19 pm
       
    • Cruises to eighth win
      Burnes (8-2) earned the victory Sunday, allowing two runs on seven hits and two walks over six innings against the Phillies. He struck out seven.

      Advice: Burnes matched a season high by allowing nine baserunners, but it didn't matter as he limited the damage, allowing only two runs over six innings as the Orioles provided him with eight runs of support. Burnes has still yet to allow more than three earned runs in any start this season, and he's allowed two or fewer runs 12 times in 15 games. He also notched his 10th consecutive quality start Sunday. Burnes will carry a 2.14 ERA and 1.04 WHIP into his next start, currently scheduled to take place when the Orioles travel to Houston to take on the Astros next weekend.       Helsley allowed two walks during a scoreless ninth inning to pick up the save Sunday against the Cubs. He struck out one.

      Advice: Helsley tossed just 11 of 23 pitches for strikes and started behind in the count to four of five batters he faced but still managed to finish off the game for the Cardinals when a drive to the gap by pinch-hitter Patrick Wisdom with two on was snagged by Brendan Donovan to preserve the win. It was another shaky outing for Helsley, who has struggled recently with his command, walking four over his last two appearances. Despite the recent trouble, he maintains an ERA of 2.53 and has converted each of his last 24 save opportunities, last blowing a save March 30 during his first appearance of the season.     • Corbin Burnes strikes out seven Phillies in win
      Corbin Burnes allowed two earned runs in six innings in an 8-3 win over Phillies on Sunday. He struck out seven, walked two, and scattered seven hits.

      Advice: Burnes was incredibly solid again in this one. Not dominant, but spotted a huge lead early and managed to coast behind his stellar cutter and curveball. The victory was his eighth of the season with a sparkling 2.14 ERA. Rotoworld Sunday, 1:48 pm
       
    • Ryan Helsley nabs league-leading 24th save
      Ryan Helsley closed out the Cubs on Sunday. He struck out one, walked two, and stranded both runners on base.

      Advice: Helsley got into some trouble in the ninth inning and was bailed out by Brendan Donovan who made a catch crashing into the ivy at Wrigley Field to end the game. Helsley is fully back to being one of the best closers in baseball after an injury-marred 2023 season. Rotoworld Sunday, 1:06 pm

      Kirby (6-5) allowed an unearned run on three hits and two walks while striking out six over six innings to earn the win Saturday over the Rangers.

      Advice: This was Kirby's first time issuing multiple walks since his season debut, as he continues to have some of the best control in the majors. The right-hander has allowed two or fewer runs in each of his last four starts after a pair of five-run outings in mid-May. He's now at a 3.54 ERA, 1.01 WHIP and 84:9 K:BB over 86.1 innings through 15 starts this year. Kirby is projected to make his next start at Miami in a highly favorable matchup.       Abbott (5-6) took the loss against Milwaukee on Saturday, allowing three runs on four hits and three walks while striking out three batters over five innings.

      Advice: Abbott navigated around a stream of baserunners to keep the Brewers off the scoreboard for four frames, but he put himself in quick danger by walking the first two batters in the fifth. That came back to hurt him in a big way when Joey Ortiz hit a changeup for a three-run homer, accounting for all the runs Abbott surrendered in the outing. It was the southpaw's second straight start of five frames after he went at least six innings in four consecutive outings between May 15 and June 3. Abbott has fared reasonably well this season with a 3.42 ERA and 1.20 WHIP, though his 60:25 K:B over 79 frames doesn't help his fantasy stock. Rotowire.com Saturday, 7:41 pm
       
    • Andrew Abbott takes loss against Brewers
      Andrew Abbott allowed three runs on four hits in five innings in a loss to the Brewers on Saturday.

      Advice: It wasn’t a poor performance for the left-hander, who walked three and struck out three on the day. As is typical, Abbott didn’t get many whiffs, with just six whiffs on 43 swings for a 14 percent whiff rate and 22 percent CSW. However, he also didn’t allow much hard contact with just an 82.3 mph average exit velocity allowed. He’ll take a 3.42 ERA into a game against the Red Sox next week, and his lack of strikeouts always makes him a bit risky for fantasy. Rotoworld Saturday, 7:25 pm
