    • Up to 23 saves
Helsley worked around a pair of walks in the ninth inning to earn the save in Friday's 3-0 win over the Cubs. He struck out two.

Advice: After recording the first two outs in the ninth, Helsley issued consecutive walks to Seiya Suzuki and Ian Happ before ultimately striking out Nico Hoerner to close out the shutout victory while earning his MLB-leading 23rd save of the year. Helsley has yet to blow a save since March 30, his first appearance of the season. His ERA is down to 2.61 with a 1.13 WHIP and 35:10 K:BB across 31 innings. Rotowire.com Today, 2:11 pm

    • Ryan Helsley picks up 23rd save with hitless ninth
Ryan Helsley notched his 23rd save Friday with a hitless ninth against the Cubs.

Advice: Helsley walked a pair of batters with two outs, drawing a visit from the pitching coach, but he then struck out Nico Hoerner to end the game. Since it was his third appearance in four days, he might be down tomorrow, potentially giving Andrew Kittredge a save chance. Rotoworld Today, 2:05 pm

    • Taking seat against lefty
O'Hearn is out of the lineup for Friday's game against the Phillies, Roch Kubatko of MASNSports.com reports.

Advice: O'Hearn will avoid a matchup against southpaw Ranger Suarez on Friday, as Adley Rutschman fills in at DH and James McCann catches. O'Hearn is just 1-for-11 against lefties in 2024 and all nine of his home runs have come against right-handed pitching. Rotowire.com Today, 12:03 pm

    • Good to go Friday
Arenado (hand) is starting at third base and batting cleanup Friday against the Cubs, Jeff Jones of the Belleville News-Democrat reports.

Advice: The 33-year-old had X-rays come back negative on his right hand after being hit by a pitch Thursday, and he's apparently fine given he's back in the lineup a day later. Arenado is 8-for-20 with two doubles and two RBI in his past five games, and he has a .273/.340/.386 slash line through 12 contests in June. Rotowire.com Today, 8:33 am

    • Swats clutch homer
Rodriguez went 1-for-4 with a solo home run Thursday in an extra-inning loss to the White Sox.

Advice: Rodriguez was hitless in his first three at-bats but came up big in his fourth trip to the plate, smashing a game-tying solo shot in the bottom of the ninth inning. The long ball was just his second across 17 contests since he went deep in back-to-back games May 25-26. Rodriguez has 16 thefts this season but has been fairly disappointing otherwise with just six homers, 26 RBI, 34 runs and a .268/.317/.354 slash line through 300 plate appearances. • J-Rod hits game-tying homer in ninth vs. White Sox
Julio Rodríguez hit a game-tying homer in the ninth inning against the White Sox, but the Mariners fell to Chicago in extra-innings.

Advice: With the Mariners trailing 2-1, J-Rod obliterated a Michael Kopech fastball to right-center field that tied the game at 2-2. The outfielder now has six homers on the season; a disappointing total for a player who many (justifiably) thought would be among the league leaders in 2024. Anyone who saw his swing tonight knows that he’s capable of — and likely going to — doing much more going forward. Rotoworld Yesterday, 9:23 pm
    • Crushes three-run homer in win
O'Neill went 2-for-5 with a three-run home run in a 9-3 win over the Phillies on Thursday.

Advice: O'Neill singled in the first inning then broke the game open in the fourth, crushing a three-run homer off Aaron Nola that traveled 430 feet over the Green Monster. After returning at DH from a knee injury Wednesday, O'Neill got the start in right field and hit his first home run since May 19. O'Neill endured a terrible May, hitting .151 with two home runs and five RBI over 73 at-bats but has opened June going 7-for-16 with a homer and five RBI in just five contests. Health has always been a concern for O'Neill, as he has eclipsed 100 games played in a season just once, but he is now slashing .256/.356/.512 with 12 home runs in 2024. • O’Neill crushes 12th home run Thursday
Tyler O’Neill went 2-for-5 with a three-run home run against the Phillies on Thursday.

Advice: O’Neill’s home run was his 12th and his first since May 19th against St. Louis. He was back in right field after missing Tuesday’s game with knee discomfort and occupying the designated hitter spot on Wednesday. Fantasy managers have to be pleased with these developments. • X-rays negative on Nolan Arenado’s right hand
X-rays came back negative on Nolan Arenado’s right hand.

Advice: Cardinals manager Oliver Marmol told reporters Arenado is day-to-day with a bone bruise in his right hand. The 33-year-old third baseman, who finished 0-for-4 on Thursday afternoon, appears to have avoided serious injury after being hit by a pitch on the back of his right hand while striking out swinging during his final at-bat. He might require a couple games off to let the pain and swelling subside, but it doesn’t appear he’s facing an extended absence. Rotoworld Yesterday, 2:45 pm
