Siri is out of the lineup for Monday's game against the White Sox, Marc Topkin of the Tampa Bay Times reports.

Advice: While starting both of the Rays' last two games after serving a two-game suspension, Siri went 0-for-5 with two strikeouts and committed an error. With his average now sitting at .176 through 31 games this season and with his defense grading out poorly compared to the previous two years, Siri's standing atop the depth chart in center field could be on shaky ground. Jonny DeLuca will draw the start in center Monday after previously manning right field alongside Siri the past two days. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 12:22 pm

    • Rangers place Wyatt Langford on IL
Rangers placed OF Wyatt Langford on the 10-day injured list with a right hamstring strain.

Advice: The 22-year-old is hitting .224/.295/.293 in 129 plate appearances with one home run, 13 runs, 11 RBI, and one steal. He’s striking out only 22 percent of the time with a seven percent swinging strike rate so there isn’t any major glaring concern; however, the results simply haven’t been there. The team has said Langford could miss a month and there’s no guarantee that the Rangers will activate him immediately when he is healthy enough to play. The Rangers could allow him to have an extended rehab to help him correct any issues before putting him back in the MLB lineup. Rotoworld Yesterday, 12:20 pm

    • Officially lands on IL
The Rangers placed Langford (hamstring) on the 10-day injured list Monday.

Advice: Just as manager Bruce Bochy said would be the case following Sunday's 3-2 win over the Royals, Langford was deactivated due to a right hamstring strain that's expected to sideline the rookie for around 3-to-4 weeks. Texas called up infielder Jonathan Ornelas from Triple-A Round Rock in a corresponding move. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 12:16 pm

    • Jose Siri is not starting with Josh Lowe back
Jose Siri is not in the starting lineup on Monday against the White Sox.

Advice: Josh Lowe is starting in center field in his first game off the IL, but Jonny DeLuca will shift to center field and bat 9th. Both DeLuca and Siri are right-handed hitters and are facing a right-handed pitcher, so this seems like a sign that DeLuca could get a real shot to take the Rays’ center field job. Siri’s playing time had always been linked to his strong defense; however, DeLuca is also a strong defensive outfielder and might have more offensive upside. The Rays certainly like him since they made him part of the return from the Dodgers in the Tyler Glasnow trade this offseason. Now might be the time to stash DeLuca in deeper formats in case he wins this job. Rotoworld Yesterday, 11:59 am

    • Starting to hit for power
Arozarena went 1-for-5 with a solo home run and a stolen base Sunday against the Mets.

Advice: Arozarena took Edwin Diaz yard in the ninth inning to tie the game, tallying his fifth home run of the season and second in his last three starts. He also swiped his fifth base of the year and has yet to be caught. It's been an ugly start to the season for Arozarena, and even with this burst of power, he has failed to record multiple hits in a game since March 30. The slow start has been the result of some bad luck -- he has a .165 BABIP -- but he's also struck out at an elevated 29.8 percent clip across 141 plate appearances. • Wyatt Langford (hamstring) heading to 10-day IL
Rangers’ manager Bruce Bochy told reporters after Sunday’s game that Wyatt Langford will be placed on the injured list on Monday with a hamstring strain.

Advice: Bochy termed the injury as slightly more severe than a Grade 1 strain and noted that the 22-year-old outfielder will be facing a 3-4 week absence. It’s a tough break for fantasy managers who will need to be sure to have an alternative option in place for the next month or so while Langford recovers from the injury. Ezequiel Duran started in his place on Sunday and will likely see increased action while Langford is shelved. Rotoworld Sunday, 4:12 pm

    • Headed for multi-week absence
Rangers manager Bruce Bochy said after Sunday's 3-2 extra-inning win over the Royals that Langford (hamstring) is expected to miss 3-to-4 weeks and will be placed on the 10-day injured list, Jackson Stone of MLB.com reports.

Advice: An MRI confirmed that Langford sustained a right hamstring strain in Saturday's 15-4 win, and he now looks in line to miss the rest of May while recovering from the injury. The 22-year-old rookie has typically served as the Rangers' primary designated hitter this season, but Texas could rotate a number of players at the DH spot while opening up opportunities in the infield for Ezequiel Duran. Langford had gotten off to a slow start to his big-league career before suffering the injury, as he carried a .224 batting average to go with one home run and one stolen base over his first 31 games. • Held out of Sunday's lineup
Langford (hamstring) is out of the lineup for Sunday's game at Kansas City.

Advice: The 22-year-old departed Saturday's 15-4 win due to right hamstring tightness and will miss at least one start while the Rangers wait for the results of his MRI, according to Evan Grant of The Dallas Morning News. Corey Seager will serve as the DH while Langford sits on Sunday, as Josh Smith starts at shortstop and Ezequiel Duran at third base. Rotowire.com Sunday, 8:52 am

    • Wyatt Langford (leg) not in lineup Sunday vs. KC
Wyatt Langford (leg) is not in the lineup for Sunday’s game against the Royals.

Advice: Langford left Saturday’s game with a leg injury that occured trying to beat out a ground ball. The 22-year-old rookie will sit Sunday with Corey Seager operating as the designated hitter and Josh Smith playing shortstop. Rotoworld Sunday, 8:33 am
