      Advice: After opening the game 0-for-3, Devers singled and later came around to score in the top of the eighth inning before launching a two-run home run off Jay Jackson in the following frame. The long ball was his fourth of the season and his first in 10 games. Since returning from a bone bruise in his left knee April 24, Devers has batted .415 with two homers, seven RBI and eight runs scored over 41 at-bats in 11 contests.       Advice: Despite yielding just four hits, Severino gave up a season-high four earned runs Sunday. His struggles stemmed from a lack of command, doling out a career-high six walks -- two of which game around to score. Still, Severino's ERA sits at 2.93 through 40 innings.       Advice: Skubal continues to dominate as the 12 strikeouts were a season high and marked the first double-digit strikeout effort of the campaign for the ace lefty. It was the sixth time in seven games Skubal has allowed two or fewer earned runs, as the outing raised his ERA to 1.90 with a 0.77 WHIP and 53 strikeouts over 42.2 innings.       Advice: Severino’s velocity was down a little today and he walked a career-high six batters, which is a little scary. He had never even walked five in a start previously. He’s not one of the Mets pitchers that typically has issues with the stolen base — he had allowed just one in his first six starts this season — but the Rays swiped three bases while he was in the game and seven in eight tries overall today. It’s the most runs he’s allowed since he was roughed up in his Mets debut on March 30. He’ll get the Braves next, so sitting him in mixed leagues seems like a good idea.       Tarik Skubal pitched well in a no-decision against the Yankees on Sunday afternoon, piling up 12 strikeouts over six innings of two-run baseball.

      Advice: The hard-throwing southpaw allowed six hits on the day and didn’t allow a base on balls. All of the damage done against him came in the first two innings, as Aaron Judge crushed a solo homer in the first and Oswaldo Cabrera added an RBI double in the second. Skubal generated 18 swings and misses on 96 pitches on the day — a whopping 12 of those on his changeup — while posting a ridiculous CSW of 44 percent.       Advice: Contreras accounted for all the offense for St. Louis on Sunday, launching a solo shot off of Garrett Crochet in the bottom of the fourth inning. The long ball was his sixth of the year and second in the last four contests.       Freddy Peralta struggled with his command in Sunday’s loss to the Cubs, issuing six walks over five innings of three-run baseball.

      Advice: Peralta also surrendered three hits on the afternoon while punching out five batters. Even with all of the traffic on the basepaths, the 27-year-old right-hander kept the Cubs off the board through the first four innings. That wasn’t the case in the fifth though, where Nico Hoerner smacked a two-run double and then scored on a wild pitch. Peralta generated 13 swinging strikes on 97 pitches in the contest, posting a CSW of 25 percent.
