    • Runs wild against Mets
Caballero went 0-for-2 with three walks, three runs scored and four stolen bases during Sunday's 7-6 extra-inning win over the Mets.

Advice: Despite not tallying a hit, Caballero was all over the basepath, reaching thrice via walk and becoming the third player since 2020 to accumulate four steals in a game. One of those swipes came in the 10th inning when he stole third after starting the inning as the designated runner then scored on a walk-off triple by Jonny DeLuca. Caballero ranks third in MLB with 13 steals this season and holds a .317 on-base percentage. Rotowire.com Today, 5:06 pm

    • Steven Kwan (hamstring) heading to injured list
Zack Meisel of The Athletic reports that the Guardians plan to place Steven Kwan (hamstring) on the 10-day injured list prior to Monday’s game against the Tigers.

Advice: Top prospect Kyle Manzardo will be promoted from Triple-A Columbus in a corresponding move to replace him on the active roster. Kwan exited Saturday’s game against the Angels with tightness in his left hamstring and underwent an MRI to determine the severity of the issue. The result of that exam is not yet known, so it’s hard to speculate just how much time the 26-year-old outfielder may stand to miss. Rotoworld Today, 4:27 pm

    • Jose Caballero steals four bases with no hits
Jose Caballero stole four bases and scored three runs without recording a hit Sunday against the Mets.

Advice: Only against the Mets. Caballero walked three times today and also got a steal as the automatic runner in the 10th inning. He’s just the second player this millennium to steal four bases without getting a hit; Everth Cabrera did so for the Padres in 2012. Caballero leads the AL with 13 steals in 18 tries this season. • Move to IL coming
Kwan will be placed on the injured list Monday, Zack Meisel of The Athleticreports.

Advice: The 26-year-old left Saturday's game due to left hamstring tightness and will now be sidelined for at least the next week and a half. The results of Kwan's MRI aren't yet known, so it's unclear exactly how long he'll be sidelined. Prospect Kyle Manzardo will be joining the Guardians for his first taste of the big leagues in Kwan's absence. Rotowire.com Today, 1:39 pm

    • Resting against lefty
Outman is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against Atlanta.

Advice: Outman is one of three lefty-hitting regulars along with Max Muncy and Gavin Lux who will hit the bench while southpaw Max Fried takes the hill for Atlanta. Chris Taylor will pick up a start in the outfield with Outman checking out of the lineup. Rotowire.com Today, 12:25 pm

    • Starts up hitting program
Brewers manager Pat Murphy said Sunday that Yelich (back) has resumed swinging the bat in addition to running and throwing, Curt Hogg of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.

Advice: The 32-year-old seemingly had a breakthrough in his recovery from a low back strain this weekend, when he had his best session in the batting cage since landing on the shelf, according to MLB.com. Yelich said that he's targeting a return to action before the Brewers' road trip wraps up Wednesday in Kansas City, but don't be surprised if the team takes a more conservative approach and gives him more time to heal up from the back injury before activating him from the 10-day injured list. • Jeimer Candelario (shin) scratched from lineup
Jeimer Candelario has been scratched from the lineup Sunday with a bruised left shin.

Advice: Candelario fouled a ball off his shin Saturday, and the Reds will give the 30-year-old a day of rest as a precaution. Santiago Espinal is now starting in Candelario’s absence. He should be considered day-to-day. Rotoworld Today, 11:28 am

    • Scratched with shin contusion
Candelario was scratched from Sunday's lineup against the Orioles due to a left shin contusion, Mark Sheldon of MLB.com reports.

Advice: Candelario was penciled in at third base but won't start as scheduled due to the injury. He'll have Monday's team off day to rest up before Tuesday's series opener versus Arizona. Santiago Espinal will step in at the hot corner Sunday. Rotowire.com Today, 11:28 am

    • Steven Kwan undergoing MRI on left hamstring
Steven Kwan underwent an MRI on his left hamstring.

Advice: The Guardians are currently awaiting the results of the imaging before making a roster decision. Kwan left Saturday’s game because of tightness in the hamstring, and he’s not in the starting lineup for Sunday’s finale against the Angels. A trip to the injured list can’t be ruled out, and Zack Meisel of The Athletic suggests that Kyle Manzardo could be a roster replacement if that takes place. Rotoworld Today, 9:05 am
