    • Logan Webb hit hard in loss to Phillies on Sunday
Logan Webb wasn’t at his best in Sunday night’s loss to the Phillies, giving up five runs (four earned) on six hits in his four innings of work.

Advice: The 27-year-old right-hander punched out six batters on the night while issuing a pair of walks. The Phillies scratched out a run against him in the second inning, then tacked on three more in the third including a two-run blast off the bat of Bryce Harper. Webb needed 98 pitches (59 strikes) to labor through 12 outs in this one, getting 10 swings and misses and posting a CSW of 26 percent. He’ll look to bounce back and improve upon his 3.50 ERA and 1.36 WHIP when he does battle against the Reds at home on Friday night. Rotoworld Yesterday, 7:11 pm

    • Josh Hader yields go-ahead homer in ninth
Josh Hader lost after giving up a go-ahead homer in a tie game Sunday against the Mariners.

Advice: It’s the save situations in which Hader has struggled, but the loss today came after he was asked to preserve a tie. Cal Raleigh’s homer was the second surrendered by Hader in 14 2/3 innings this year. Given that his strikeout rate remains exceptional and his groundball rate is actually considerably higher than usual, we’re still not worried about Hader at all. Rotoworld Yesterday, 3:01 pm

    • Brandon Drury goes 0-for-4 in loss to Guardians
Brandon Drury went 0-for-4 with two strikeouts in the loss to the Guardians on Sunday.

Advice: Drury is fortunate injuries have left his playing time unchallenged, since he’s struggled mightily in hitting .161/.225/.215. His strikeout rate is actually down, but his power has followed, and he’s been pretty unlucky when it comes to picking up singles. Still, he’ll probably have until Anthony Rendon returns to snap out of it. Rotoworld Yesterday, 1:20 pm

    • Logan O’Hoppe out Sunday with hand contusion
Logan O’Hoppe (hand) is not in the starting lineup for Sunday’s game against the Guardians.

Advice: O’Hoppe is going to miss at least one more game after he was hit with a foul ball during Saturday’s contest against Cleveland and he was forced to exit. Matt Thaiss gets the start behind the plate and will hit seventh. O’Hoppe should be considered day-to-day. Rotoworld Yesterday, 7:58 am

    • Not starting Sunday
O'Hoppe (hand) is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Guardians.

Advice: As expected, O'Hoppe will be on the bench for the day game to close out the series in Cleveland after he exited Saturday's 7-1 loss with a right hand contusion. Matt Thaiss will step in behind the plate for O'Hoppe, who should be viewed as day-to-day heading into Monday's series opener in Pittsburgh. According to Jeff Fletcher of The Orange County Register, O'Hoppe has already resumed throwing and was scheduled to take batting practice Sunday, so he could be available off the bench in an emergency. • Luis Rengifo (illness) remains out Sunday
Luis Rengifo (illness) is not in the lineup Sunday against the Guardians.

Advice: Rengifo was not able to play Saturday due to illness, and the 27-year-old will get at least one more day off. Cole Tucker will get a start at third base and hit eighth while Rengifo gets better. Rotoworld Yesterday, 7:45 am

    • Sitting versus southpaw
Carpenter is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Yankees.

Advice: Carpenter is in the midst of a 3-for-25 slump and will sit Sunday as lefty Nestor Cortes takes the mound for New York. Wenceel Perez will shift to right field while Parker Meadows starts in center. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 7:44 am
