The 29-year-old snapped a three-game streak allowing a home run, something he has struggled with all season -- his 1.8 HR/9 ranks in the ninth percentile. On the whole, King has been solid this season, recording a 3.82 ERA and 1.23 WHIP with a 78:31 K:BB across 73 innings.       Advice: A flyout allowed the initial runner to advance to third base, but Helsley struck out the next two batters to close this game. It was encouraging to see the 29-year-old have a dominant outing after allowing four runs over his previous three appearances. He's earned a save in eight straight outings despite his recent shakiness, and he still has a 2.42 ERA, 1.12 WHIP and 27:6 K:BB over 26 innings while converting 19 of 20 save chances this season.       Advice: The 29-year-old right-hander had to do some work, as Bryce Harper advanced to third base on a fly ball to start the inning, but Helsley battled back to strike out Cristian Pache and Nick Castellanos to leave the tying run stranded there.       Advice: Marte got the scoring going in the top of the first with a leadoff homer against Jose Quintana. He saved his best for last though, launching a decisive two-run shot in the ninth to propel Arizona to a 5-4 victory. The multi-HR performance was Marte's first of the season and the seventh of his career.     • Clay Holmes slams door on Giants on Sunday
      Clay Holmes slammed the door on the Giants in the ninth inning on Sunday, protecting a two-run lead to earn his 17th save of the season.

      Advice: The Yankees rallied for four runs off of Giants’ closer Camilo Doval in the top half of the ninth inning to take the lead and Holmes did his job to make sure that it stood up. He needed just 12 pitches (eight strikes) to retire Brett Wisely, Wilmer Flores and Matt Chapman in order to end it. The 31-year-old hurler has been spectacular this season, compiling a 1.37 ERA, 1.25 WHIP and a 27/8 K/BB ratio across 26 1/3 innings while nabbing 17 saves and a victory.     • Michael King gets tough luck no decision vs KC
      Michael King allowed one run on four hits in seven innings in a no-decision against the Royals.

      Advice: King was all set to record the win with the Padres up 3-1 heading into the bottom of the ninth inning. However, with their bullpen being taxed heavily over the last few days, the Padres had to go with Yuki Matsui to close the game, and he allowed three runs while only recording one out. King was only able to induce eight whiffs on 48 swings for a 17 percent whiff rate and 24 percent CSW, but he allowed an average exit velocity on all batted balls of just 84 mph.
