    • Alexis Díaz earns 12th save in win over Cubs
Alexis Díaz pitched a scoreless ninth inning to secure a 5-2 win over the Cubs on Sunday.

Advice: Díaz walked one and struck out on and was never really in any jeopardy. Of course, it’s been a struggle for him this season, and the command issues are a big reason why. He now has a 5.64 ERA on the season but has a decent amount of job security with nobody to really threaten him in the bullpen. Rotoworld 53 minutes ago

    • Bat remains hot
Bregman went 2-for-4 with a two-run home run Sunday against the Twins.

Advice: Bregman is starting to heat up, collecting his fourth homer in six games along with adding his fifth multi-hit effort over the last eight. Sunday's performance lifted Bregman's slash line to .229/.287/.395 while during this recent eight-game run he's batting 12-for-32 (.375) with four homers, seven RBI and five runs scored. • Hand showing improvement
Phillies manager Rob Thomson said Sunday that the swelling in Suarez's hand has improved significantly, and the left-hander could pick up a ball in the next day or two, Matt Gelb of The Athleticreports.

Advice: The 28-year-old was struck in the left hand by a comebacker during Saturday's start against the Cardinals, but he's had X-rays come back negative and already appears to be progressing in his recovery. It remains to be seen if Suarez will be cleared for his next turn through the rotation, but he's certainly trending in the right direction. The Phillies also have three scheduled days off surrounding next weekend's two-game series versus the Mets in London, so the club could give Suarez some extra time between outings without needing an additional starter. • Adolis García homers in win over Marlins
Adolis García went 2-for-5 with a home run and two RBI in a win over the Marlins on Sunday.

Advice: García took a sixth-inning offering from Trevor Rogers and hit it 395 feet at 108.2 mph for his 13th home run on the season. He also added an RBI earlier in the game and now has 40 RBI on the year, which has helped prop up a disappointing .231/.285/.462 slash line. As a free-swinger, García has always seemed at risk for batting average regression, and it’s possible he won’t match last year’s .245 batting average, but the power remains a true asset. • Ranger Suárez (thumb) feels much improved Sunday
Ranger Suárez (thumb) reported feeling much improved on Sunday and there’s optimism from the team that he’ll be able to make his next scheduled start.

Advice: The 28-year-old southpaw was lifted from Saturday’s start after he was hit on his pitching hand by a comebacker, but the swelling went way down overnight and he’s feeling much better already. Phillies’ skipper Rob Thomson said they’ll wait a day or two before he attempts to throw, but it sounds like he’ll be able to take the hill as planned against the Mets in London next weekend. • Hitting bench Sunday
Moore is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Angels.

Advice: Moore will take a seat in the series finale after he went 1-for-14 with eight strikeouts while starting each of the past four games at either second base or third base. While he remains in the mix for steady playing at the keystone with Jorge Polanco (hamstring) on the injured list, Moore looks to be slowing down at the plate after a hot run over the first three weeks of May. Dating back to May 23, Moore is slashing .103/.297/.138 over a stretch of nine games. If Moore's struggles continue, Ryan Bliss could end up unseating him as the preferred option at second base. • Will Smith gets Sunday off again vs. Rockies
Will Smith is not in the starting lineup Sunday against the Rockies.

Advice: Smith almost always gets Sunday off, and this won’t be an exception. The 29-year-old slugger will take a break with Austin Barnes behind the plate for the series finale. Rotoworld Today, 10:55 am

    • Dylan Moore not starting Sunday vs. Angels
Dylan Moore is not in the starting lineup for Sunday’s game against the Angels.

Advice: Moore has scuffled as of late, and he’ll get a day off Sunday with Ryan Bliss getting another start at second base. Mitch Haniger is also out for the finale against the Halos with Dominic Canzone starting in right field. Rotoworld Today, 10:12 am
