      Kyle Finnegan worked a scoreless ninth inning on Sunday against the Guardians to earn the save. He allowed one hit and didn’t strike a batter out.

      Advice: The only pitchers with more saves than Finnegan this season are Ryan Helsley, Emmanuel Clase, and Robert Suárez while he’s tied with Clay Holmes.     • Luis Arraez exits game Sunday with apparent injury
      Luis Arraez was removed from Sunday afternoon’s game against the Royals due to an apparent injury.

      Advice: Arraez was thrown out at second base attempting to stretch a single into a double in the top half of the fifth inning. He remained in the game for another inning defensively, but was ultimately replaced by Tyler Wade when the Padres took the field in the sixth inning.     • Hitting bench Sunday
      Moore is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Angels.

      Advice: Moore will take a seat in the series finale after he went 1-for-14 with eight strikeouts while starting each of the past four games at either second base or third base. While he remains in the mix for steady playing at the keystone with Jorge Polanco (hamstring) on the injured list, Moore looks to be slowing down at the plate after a hot run over the first three weeks of May. Dating back to May 23, Moore is slashing .103/.297/.138 over a stretch of nine games. If Moore's struggles continue, Ryan Bliss could end up unseating him as the preferred option at second base.       Dylan Moore is not in the starting lineup for Sunday’s game against the Angels.

      Olson (1-6) took the loss Saturday as the Tigers fell 6-3 to the Red Sox, giving up five runs on six hits and a walk over 5.1 innings. He struck out two.

      Advice: He was able to handle most of Boston's lineup, but Enmanuel Valdez proved to be his kryptonite, smacking a double and two homers off Olson. The right-hander had gone eight straight outings without allowing more than two earned runs heading into Saturday, and despite the stumble Olson will take a 2.48 ERA, 1.07 WHIP and 52:20 K:BB through 61.2 innings into his next start, which lines up to come at home next weekend against the Brewers.       Sale allowed eight runs on nine hits and a walk over four innings against the A's on Saturday. He struck out four.

      Advice: It was a rough day for Sale, who allowed six runs over his first two innings before Brent Rooker added two more with a home run in the fourth. Sale hadn't allowed more than one run in six straight starts prior to Saturday while recording eight or more strikeouts in each of his last five outings. Overall, the veteran left-hander is 8-1 on the season with a 3.06 ERA, 0.95 WHIP and 82:10 K:BB across 67.2 innings.     • Fernando Tatis Jr. has three hits, HR in victory
      Fernando Tatis Jr. homered and went 3-for-4 in a 7-3 win for the Padres over the Angels on Saturday.

      Advice: Tatis Jr. got the party started for the Padres with a solo homer in the first inning off Alec Marsh. The 25-year-old also singled twice and drew a walk for a four-reach day. Tatis hasn’t been spectacular in the first 60-plus games of the season, but he’s up to 10 homers, 30 RBI and six stolen bases with a .772 OPS.       Tatis went 3-for-4 with a walk and a solo home run in Saturday's 7-3 win over Kansas City.

      Advice: Tatis opened the scoring in the first inning with a 422-foot solo shot off Alec Marsh, his 10th homer of the season. The 25-year-old Tatis has at least one hit in his last seven games, going 11-for-29 (.379) in that span.     • Sale allows eight runs in no-decision
      Chris Sale allowed eight runs in four innings and got a no-decision against the Athletics on Saturday.

      Advice: Sale allowed nine hits, walked one and struck out four. He was due for a bad start after a dominant stretch where he won his last seven consecutive starts. He had his worst outing of the year against the Athletics. It’s the only time Sale was unable to complete five innings in 11 tries this year. His ERA increased from 2.11 to 3.06.
