      Turner (hamstring) hit on the field and ran at 80 percent effort level Tuesday, Matt Gelb of The Athletic reports.

      Advice: Turner has ramped up his workouts over the last week and has not reported any soreness in his left hamstring. The Phillies have been encouraged by Turner's progress, but they insist he won't be rushed and have not offered an amendment of the shortstop's initial six-week timetable.       Trea Turner (hamstring) progressed to on-field hitting and ran at 80 percent on Tuesday.

      Advice: Turner hasn’t experienced any soreness or setbacks as he steadily ramps up baseball activities in his recovery from a left hamstring strain.       D'Arnaud went 3-for-4 with an RBI in the second game of Monday's doubleheader split with the Padres.

      Advice: The veteran catcher sat out Sunday's game and Monday's matinee after taking a foul tip off his facemask Friday, but d'Arnaud cleared the concussion protocol and looked none the worse for wear in his return to the lineup. He's slashing .274/.350/.509 through 120 plate appearances this season with five homers and 17 RBI, but with Sean Murphy (oblique) expected to begin a rehab assignment this week, d'Arnaud's stint as Atlanta's No. 1 backstop could come to a close by the end of the month.       Garcia went 3-for-4 with a home run and three RBI in Monday's victory over the Twins.

      Advice: Garcia put Washington ahead with his 378-foot, two-run home run in the second inning off Minnesota starter Pablo Lopez. The 24-year-old second baseman entered the game in a cold spell in which he hit .091 (3-for-33) over his previous nine games while battling wrist and heel ailments.       Luis García Jr. went 2-for-4 with a two-run homer and three RBI on Monday, lifting the Nationals to a 12-3 blowout win over the Twins.

      Advice: García put the Nationals ahead with a two-run shot off Twins ace Pablo López in the second inning -- his fourth round-tripper of the season -- before adding a run-scoring single a couple frames later. The 24-year-old second baseman is finally starting to make the leap offensively at the highest level this season, batting .281 (38-for-135) with four homers and seven steals in 39 contests so far.       Jurickson Profar went 2-for-4 against the Braves on Monday.



      Advice: It was a quiet night for the Padres offense as they were shutout, but Profar’s hot hitting continued. He’s up to .339 with .944 OPS on the season. Once the top prospect in all of baseball, Profar is enjoying easily his best season in his 11th year in the major leagues.

      Travis d’Arnaud went 3-for-4 with an RBI against the Padres on Monday.



      Advice: D’Arnaud took a foul ball off the mask in last Friday’s game and subsequently sat out of Saturday and Sunday’s games. He was cleared of a possible concussion and returned to the lineup with a three-hit game. D’Arnaud’s time as Atlanta’s primary catcher might be coming to a close soon as the injured Sean Murphy is nearing a rehab assignment.

      Advice: D'Arnaud hasn't played since being removed from last Friday's game due to dizziness, but he passed concussion tests and is back in the lineup following a couple days of rest.       Manny Machado doubled twice and drove in two runs as the Padres edged the Braves 6-5 in the first game of Monday’s doubleheader

      Advice: The two-run hit came in a four-run eighth inning rally that proved decisive. The previous double was Machado’s first extra-base hit since May 4. He also had his first multi-RBI game since that date.
