    • Provides lone run
Gelof went 1-for-4 with a solo home run during Sunday's 3-1 loss to Atlanta.

Advice: Gelof put up the A's only tally Sunday, swatting a game-tying homer off Dylan Lee in the seventh inning. The long ball was Gelof's fourth of the season, and his first since April 22. The second baseman finishes the three-game series with Atlanta 3-for-11 (.273) with three extra-base hits, two RBI and three runs. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 8:40 pm

    • Homers, triples in losing effort
Devers went 2-for-4 with a solo home run, triple, two RBI and a walk Sunday against the Tigers.

Advice: Devers third-inning triple plated a run while his solo blast in the eighth knotted the game at four and set the stage for extra innings. It was the second triple and 11th homer of the season for Devers, who entered the game in a mini 1-for-10 slump since accumulating four hits against the Orioles on Tuesday. It was also the first dinger for Devers since hitting homers in six-consecutive games from May 15-20. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 6:17 pm

    • Works into seventh
Bello did not factor into the decision Sunday, allowing four runs on eight hits and three walks over 6.1 innings. He struck out five.

Advice: Bello cruised through the first four in allowing only two baserunners and finished the sixth inning in line for a quality start and the win. For the first time all year, Bello was called upon to go back out for the seventh, but after recording one out, he allowed the next two runners to reach base prior to being pulled, with both runners eventually coming around to score, adversely impacting his final line. It was only the second time this year that Bello has not been involved in the decision. His next opportunity to take the hill will likely come next weekend when Boston travels to Chicago to take on the White Sox. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 6:06 pm

    • Ends slump Sunday
Garver went 2-for-4 with a three-run double in Sunday's 5-1 win over the Angels.

Advice: Garver entered Sunday 0-for-20 over his last seven games. His last extra-base hit was May 21, and he hadn't knocked in a run since May 17. He was able to put an end to all of those slumps, delivering a big knock in the eighth inning to give the Mariners some breathing room. The 33-year-old has struggled to get anything going at the plate this year, slashing .170/.276/.309 with five home runs, 17 RBI, 18 runs scored and eight doubles over 192 plate appearances as Seattle's primary designated hitter. • Mitch Garver plates three as Mariners top Angels
Mitch Garver went 2-for-4 with a double and three RBI on Sunday afternoon, helping to lead the Mariners to victory over the visiting Angels.

Advice: Garver gave the Mariners quite a bit of breathing room with his bases-clearing three-run double off of Luis Garcia in the eighth inning — increasing the M’s advantage to 5-0. With his two-hit attack, the 33-year-old backstop is now hitting .170/.276/.309 with five homers and 17 RBI on the year. Rotoworld Yesterday, 4:43 pm

    • Bat remains hot
Bregman went 2-for-4 with a two-run home run Sunday against the Twins.

Advice: Bregman is starting to heat up, collecting his fourth homer in six games along with adding his fifth multi-hit effort over the last eight. Sunday's performance lifted Bregman's slash line to .229/.287/.395 while during this recent eight-game run he's batting 12-for-32 (.375) with four homers, seven RBI and five runs scored. • Brayan Bello falters late in no-decision
Brayan Bello was charged with four runs in 6 1/3 innings Sunday in a no-decision against the Tigers.

Advice: This one is on Alex Cora, who sent Bello back out for the seventh to face the top of the lineup for a fourth time even though he had given up runs in the fifth and sixth innings. Bello surrendered hits to two of the three batters he faced before being pulled, and Justin Slaten allowed both runners to score afterwards. Bello remains 6-2 with a 4.36 ERA. • Rafael Devers homers, triples, walks versus Tigers
Rafael Devers homered, tripled and walked Sunday in a loss to the Tigers.

Advice: Devers has done his best work this season batting second, and the Red Sox might have won today had they had him in that spot behind Jarren Duran, who was on base four times. Instead, they had him batting fourth behind Dominic Smith of all people. Devers did drive in Smith with the triple, but the homer was a solo shot. It was his first game with multiple extra-base hits since he doubled twice on May 3. Rotoworld Yesterday, 2:07 pm

    • Sean Murphy drives in go-ahead run
Sean Murphy went 1-for-3 with a run-scoring double in a 3-1 win over the Athletics on Sunday. He also walked.

Advice: Murphy delivered the big blow against his former team on Sunday as he still tries to get his feet wet this season. The double was his first extra-base hit so far in just his fifth game after straining his oblique on opening day. Rotoworld Yesterday, 1:27 pm
