      Neto went 2-for-3 with two stolen bases in Friday's 5-4 loss to the Mariners.

      Advice: Neto singled and then stole second and third in the seventh inning, but he wasn't brought home. The shortstop had gone 16 games without a stolen base, though he hit a respectable .264 (14-for-53) with seven extra-base hits in that span. For the season, Neto is slashing .254/.305/.413 with eight steals, six home runs, 18 RBI, 20 runs scored and 12 doubles over 203 plate appearances in a starting role.       Advice: Raley missed a game due to lat soreness, but it appears to be a minor issue. Prior to Friday, Raley went 1-for-19 over his previous seven contests while racking up 10 strikeouts in that span. He's been decent in 2024 with a .260/.297/.397 slash line, four home runs, five stolen bases, 12 RBI and 16 runs scored over 138 plate appearances.       William Contreras picked up three hits and drove in a run in a win Friday over the White Sox.

      Advice: Contreras, 26, also scored twice. The Brewers were able to reach 23 times via hit and six times on walks, and somewhat amazingly none of those hits went over the fence.       Bibee (4-1) allowed a run on three hits and a walk over 6.1 innings Friday, striking out seven and earning a win over the Nationals.

      Advice: Bibee dominated in six shutout frames before Washington finally pushed home a run in the seventh. He's turned in three straight quality starts, dropping his season ERA from 4.34 to 3.74 during that span. The 25-year-old righty has allowed two or fewer runs in seven of his first 12 starts.       Jake Burger went 3-for-5 with a couple of runs scored Friday in the win over the Rangers.

      Advice: Burger came into the night with a hideous .240 OBP, but the Marlins still had him hitting second in their lineup. Perhaps he’s starting to pull out of his slump; he has seven hits in his last three games, raising his average from .189 to .218. Rotoworld Yesterday, 7:02 pm

    • Tanner Bibee blazes past Nationals for win
      Tanner Bibee allowed one earned run across 6 ⅓ innings in a 7-1 win over the Nationals on Friday. He struck out seven and walked one.

      Advice: This was a tremendous start for Bibee mostly fueled by increased fastball velocity. His heater ticked up to 98 MPH and averaged 95.5 MPH, but tailed off in the seventh inning as the Nationals started to get around on him. This was the second time in three starts Bibee’s fastball averaged at least 95.5 MPH and keeping the velocity on that pitch up is the key to his success. Rotoworld Yesterday, 6:40 pm
