    • Bo Bichette out Saturday with right calf soreness
Bo Bichette is absent from the lineup for Saturday’s game against the Guardians due to right calf soreness.

Advice: Blue Jays manager John Schneider told reporters they’ll see how Bichette is feeling this weekend before deciding on a course of action. It doesn’t sound like a serious concern, but it’s a developing situation fantasy managers should keep a close eye on. He’s been playing through the lingering issue of late and is presumably day-to-day for now. Rotoworld 29 minutes ago

    • Dealing with calf issue
Bichette is absent from Saturday's lineup against the Guardians as a result of right calf soreness, Arden Zwelling of Sportsnet.ca reports.

Advice: Bichette has been playing through the calf issue for a few games, so the team decided to give him a day off Saturday. Manager John Schneider said the team will keep an eye on how the shortstop is feeling ahead of Sunday's series finale with Cleveland before making a decision on when he'll be back in the lineup. • Breather Saturday
Kepler is not in the starting lineup Saturday versus the Athletics.

Advice: Kepler will take a seat after he went 4-for-7 with a home run, four RBI and two runs scored over the first two games of the series. Trevor Larnach will slide over to right field while Austin Martin enters the lineup in left field and bats ninth against Oakland. Rotowire.com 58 minutes ago

    • Day off Saturday
Bichette is not in the starting lineup for Saturday's contest against the Guardians, Shi Davidi of Sportsnet.ca reports.

Advice: Bichette will get a rare breather Saturday, taking a seat after he went 3-for-18 with an RBI and a run scored over the last five games, three of which he failed to record a hit in. Isiah Kiner-Falefa will slide over to shortstop while Addison Berger enters the lineup at third base and bats seventh versus Cleveland. Rotowire.com Today, 8:27 am

    • Logs steal in loss
Langford went 2-for-4 with a stolen base and an RBI in Friday's 3-2 loss to Seattle.

Advice: Langford had a run-producing single in the first inning then put himself in scoring position with a steal. It was his third steal in the last two games and fourth over the last five contests. Since returning from a hamstring injury late May, Langford is batting .306/.346/.429 with four extra-base hits, nine RBI, four steals and four runs scored over 13 games. • Lifted for pinch runner
Seager returned to the lineup and went 0-for-3 with a walk in Friday's 3-2 loss to Seattle.

Advice: Seager was back in the lineup as the DH after being scratched Thursday due to ongoing issues with his hamstring. The one time he did reach base Friday -- a two-out, eighth-inning walk -- he was lifted for a pinch runner. That likely means manager Bruce Bochy didn't want to risk aggravating the injury while trying to score a tying run, so the manager went with the speedier Travis Jankowski. For Seager, the walk extended his on-base streak to 30 games (.415 OBP). Rotowire.com Today, 5:58 am

    • Homers, drives in four
Kepler went 3-for-4 with a home run and four RBI in Friday's win over Oakland.

Advice: Kepler did most of his damage with a three-run shot in the sixth inning but later delivered a clutch walk-off single in the 10th. He entered Friday's game with a .398 OPS in 11 games this month and the home run was his first since May 22. Kepler is now slashing .263/.326/.433 with 19 extra-base knocks and 27 RBI through 190 plate appearances. Rotowire.com Today, 5:02 am

    • Corey Seager hitless on Friday in return to lineup
Corey Seager (hamstring) went 0-for-3 on Friday in his return to the lineup.

Advice: Seager went 0-for-3 before being lifted for a pinch-runner in the late stages of Friday’s series opener against the Mariners. The Rangers have tried to be cautious with their 30-year-old superstar over the last few days as he attempts to play through a minor left hamstring issue. It wouldn’t be surprising to see him get a few extra maintenance days off moving forward in an effort to prevent the lingering issue from getting worse. Rotoworld Today, 4:07 am

    • Goes deep in win
Neto went 1-for-4 with a two-run home run and an additional run scored in Friday's 8-6 win over the Giants.

Advice: The shortstop has three homers and 10 RBI over 12 contests in June, going 10-for-43 (.233) this month. Neto may not be making consistent contact, but the increased power is a positive nonetheless. He's maintained a .250/.298/.435 slash line with nine homers, 28 RBI, 26 runs scored, eight stolen base and 16 doubles through 67 contests this season. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 11:03 pm
