    • Closing in on obscure record
India went 1-for-4 with a double in Sunday's 2-0 loss to St. Louis.

Advice: India ripped a third-inning double, the eighth consecutive game with a two-bagger for the second baseman. That's a franchise record and one off the MLB record of nine, set by Toronto's Bo Bichette in 2019. The double also extended a hit streak to 12 games, during which India is batting .489 (22-for-45) with 12 doubles, a home run, six RBI, two steals and 10 additional runs scored. • Three hits Sunday
Raley went 3-for-5 with a double, an RBI and a run scored in Sunday's 5-3 loss to the Twins.

Advice: Raley was the only Mariner with more than one hit in Sunday's contest. It was his fourth time this season with three hits in a game. He wraps up the weekend going 4-for-9 after being reinserted into the lineup Saturday following some shoulder soreness he was dealing with earlier in the week. The 29-year-old is slashing .261/.305/.449 with nine homers, 23 RBI, 30 runs and an 8:69 BB:K in 221 plate appearances this season. Rotowire.com Today, 3:00 am

    • Hits for cycle in blowout win
Langford hit for the cycle in Sunday's 11-2 win over the Orioles, going 4-for-5 with four RBI and three runs scored.

Advice: Langford made history with the first cycle of the 2024 MLB season Sunday night. He flew out his first time up and then took off from there, tripling in the fourth and then later completing things with a three-run blast in his final at-bat of the evening in the eighth. Langford is putting together quite the rookie campaign despite the season struggles from the Rangers. He became the first rookie in MLB history with a cycle, a grand slam and an inside-the-park home run in a season. He also became the first Rangers rookie to hit for a cycle since 1985. Langford caps off a productive month of June, during which he slashed .309/.368/.526 with three homers, 22 RBI, 11 runs, six steals and an 8:17 BB:K in 106 plate appearances. • Logs three hits in loss
Naylor went 3-for-4 with a double in Sunday's 6-2 loss to the Royals.

Advice: Naylor has a pair of three-hit efforts over his last five games, but he went 0-for-7 with a walk and three strikeouts in between those contests. The catcher has started to show a bit more life with the bat, hitting .286 (14-for-49) with eight extra-base hits over 16 contests in June, though he also struck out 15 times. Naylor's at a .207/.274/.335 slash line with four home runs, 17 RBI, 22 runs scored, one stolen base, nine doubles and one triple through 197 plate appearances this year. His playing time has rebounded after dipping in late May and early June, but Naylor will need to continue to make a good effort with David Fry around to poach starts behind the dish. • Wyatt Langford hits for cycle in rout of Orioles
Wyatt Langford hit for the cycle and drove in four runs as the Rangers bested the Orioles 11-2 on Sunday.

Advice: Langford had just 14 extra-base hits in 59 games this season before coming up with three tonight. The homer, his fourth, came in his fifth and final at-bat of the night. It caps off a fine June for Langford in which he hit .283/.347/.446 with two homers, 18 RBI and six steals in 25 games. Things will likely only keep getting better from here. • Luke Raley hobbled after taking pitch off foot
Luke Raley appeared hobbled in the Mariners clubhouse after Sunday’s game, which saw him get hit in the left foot by a pitch.

Advice: Manager Scott Servais didn’t mention anything regarding Raley after the game, suggesting that no X-rays or anything were required here. He’ll probably be fine for Tuesday. Rotoworld Yesterday, 4:40 pm

    • Zach Neto demolishes three-run homer in loss
Zach Neto crushed a three-run homer on Sunday in the Angels’ loss to the Tigers.

Advice: Neto kick-started a ninth-inning rally for the Angels on Sunday afternoon that came up just short as they nearly erased a six-run deficit with five runs in the final frame. Neto played a pivotal role in the comeback with a 414-foot moonshot -- his 11th big fly of the season -- off Tigers reliever Shelby Miller. The 23-year-old former top prospect is quietly putting together an impressive full-season debut with a .738 OPS to go along with 11 homers and 11 steals in 300 plate appearances over 81 games.
