      Advice: Arenado gave St. Louis an early lead with a two-run double in the first inning before adding another RBI double in the fifth. Over his previous 13 games, he posted a disappointing .614 OPS with just one multi-hit performance. Friday's game was the first time he drove in multiple runs since April 20.       Advice: Arenado doubled home two runs in the first, and another in the fifth. The 33-year-old has picked up eight two-baggers in the 2024 campaign, and the pair of hits ups his slash to .279/.338/.369.       Advice: Garcia has hit safely in five straight games, going 8-for-22 (.364) with two steals, four RBI and four runs scored in that span. He continues to improve at the plate as he shakes off a slow start to the campaign.       Nolan Arenado finished 0-for-5 in the loss to the Mets on Sunday, snapping a 25-game on-base streak.

      Advice: Arenado struck out once and failed to hit a ball hard in his other four attempts. Up with one out and a man on third in the top of the 11th, he hit a 200-foot fly that turned into a double play because Willson Contreras forgot how many outs there were. Arenado has just one homer this year. His hard-hit rate is only 27%. He’s doing what he can with a .271 average and a .328 OBP, but the power just isn’t there right now.       Advice: It wasn’t a tremendous performance from Garcia, but the Royals had just four hits on the day. The double gave Garcia a hit in eight of his last 10 games to up his slash line to .223/.276/.384.       Maikel Garcia went 2-for-5 with a pair of RBI and a stolen base as the Royals fell to the Tigers on Saturday evening in Motown.

      Advice: Garcia led off the game with a single off of Casey Mize and came around to score the game’s first run on an RBI ground ball off the bat of Vinnie Pasquantino. He then drove in a run with an RBI single in the second inning and swiped second base before being stranded there. The 24-year-old third baseman also plated a run with a ground ball in the ninth inning.
