    • Homers in consecutive games
Rutschman went 1-for-5 with a solo home run in Sunday's 7-6 loss to the Athletics.

Advice: Rutschman homered for the second game in a row, doubling his total for the year to four. The catcher also struck out three times Sunday and is now striking out at a 16.0 percent rate. He's added 17 RBI, 17 runs scored and a .318/.361/.455 slash line through 119 plate appearances. Rutschman has maintained more playing time than the average catcher this year, as manager Brandon Hyde has often put him at designated hitter when he's not behind the dish. • Shuts down Dodgers
Gausman (1-3) earned the win Sunday, allowing one run on five hits and no walks across seven innings against the Dodgers. He struck out five.

Advice: The lone run against Gausman came in the sixth inning on a homer by Freddie Freeman. After allowing 12 earned runs over 7.1 innings in his first three starts, Gausman has rounded into form with just two earned runs allowed across 18.2 frames since. He'll look to keep the ball rolling during a weekend road series against the Nationals. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 7:54 pm
    • Homers, collects three hits
Mountcastle went 3-for-4 with a two-run home run during Sunday's 7-6 loss to the Athletics.

Advice: Mountcastle had gone just 1-for-12 over his last three games but collected three hits including his fourth homer. Mountcastle's performance lifted his average to .319 with four homers and 14 RBI. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 6:24 pm

    • Bryson Stott homers twice in win over Padres
Bryson Stott crushed a pair of two-run homers on Sunday, powering the Phillies to an 8-6 victory over the Padres.

Advice: Stott opened the scoring in the ballgame with a 395-foot (105.7 mph EV) two-run shot off of Michael King in the second inning. He replicated that feat in the fourth inning — this time a 396-foot (103.9 mph EV) two-run shot off of King that gave the Phillies a 4-3 lead. He also grounded into a fielder’s choice in the eighth inning, swiped second base and scored on an RBI double off the bat of Johan Rojas. With the monster day at the dish, the 26-year-old second baseman is now hitting .226/.295/.369 with three homers, 14 RBI and four stolen bases in what has otherwise been a disappointing season. • Jose Altuve hits seventh homer in Astros’ victory
Jose Altuve went 2-for-4 with a homer, a walk and three runs scored as the Astros topped the Rockies 8-2 in Mexico City on Sunday.

Advice: Altuve’s homer projected at 438 feet, his longest blast since Oct. 7, 2020. He hadn’t hit a ball farther than 404 feet this season, though that hadn’t stopped him from amassing six homers coming into the day. He’s batting .342/.414/.596 in 128 plate appearances. • Luis Campusano belts three-run homer in loss
Luis Campusano went 1-for-2 and belted a three-run homer as the Padres fell to the Phillies on Sunday afternoon in San Diego.

Advice: Campusano entered the game as a pinch-hitter for Kyle Higashioka in the seventh inning and responded by crushing a 397-foot (106.2 mph EV) three-run blast off of Taijuan Walker that pulled the Padres to within a run at 7-6. That would be as close as they would get. The 25-year-old backstop is now hitting .290/.320/.430 with a pair of homers and 17 RBI on the season. Rotoworld Yesterday, 4:22 pm
    • Goes deep, swipes bag
Altuve went 2-for-4 with a solo homer, three runs scored, a walk and a steal in Sunday's win over Colorado.

Advice: Altuve singled and scored after swiping third base in the first inning. He then drilled a solo shot in the third. The star infielder had been in a short slump recently, going 6-for-30 (.200) with one extra-base hit over his previous seven games. Still, he's sporting a strong .342/.414/.596 slash line with four steals, 15 extra-base hits and 21 runs scored through 28 games. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 4:02 pm

    • Mountcastle, has three hits, HR vs A’s
Ryan Mountcastle went 3-for-4 with a home run and two RBI in a loss to the A’s on Sunday.

Advice: The home run was a 424-foot shot off Paul Blackburn that left the bat at 108.7 mph. It was Mountcastle’s fourth home run on the season, and he’s now slashing .319/.379/.527 on the season with 14 RBI. He gets lost in the shuffle with the Orioles’ having truckloads of talented young prospects, but Mountcastle has been one of their better hitters to start the season and needs to be started in all leagues for now. • Kevin Gausman stifles Dodgers in win
Kevin Gausman allowed one run on five hits in seven innings in a win over the Dodgers on Sunday.

Advice: Gausman also struck out five and walked nobody on the day. It wasn’t all sunshine and rainbows, but that’s to be expected against the Dodgers. Gausman allowed four extra-base hits and was only able to post a 17 percent whiff rate. He also saw his velocity down slightly on both his four-seam and splitter but nothing concerning. He continues to have some issues throwing the splitter for strikes with just a 26 percent zone rate on the pitch. Still, it’s certainly a start you’re happy with against an offense like the Dodgers. Gausman’s ERA is now down to 4.50 and he’ll get the Nationals next weekend. Rotoworld Yesterday, 1:28 pm
