    • Clubs ninth homer
Schwarber went 2-for-4 with a solo home run and an additional run scored during Monday's 6-1 win over San Francisco.

Advice: Schwarber belted the long ball in the eighth inning off Tyler Rogers, giving the Phillies an additional run of cushion heading into the ninth. Schwarber also reached base in the fifth inning on a single and was driven in on a Bryce Harper homer. Over his last 10 games, Schwarber is 11-for-42 (.262) with 11 runs scored and nine RBI. • Nabs fourth steal
Freeman went 2-for-3 with a double and a stolen base in Monday's 2-1 win over the Tigers.

Advice: Freeman opened May 1-for-12 across four contests, and his last multi-hit effort before Monday was April 19. The 24-year-old is slashing just .204/.301/.347 this season while adding three home runs, four steals, 12 RBI, 17 runs scored and five doubles across 113 plate appearances. With Steven Kwan (hamstring) landing on the injured list Monday, Freeman should have more job security in center field while Estevan Florial, Ramon Laureano and Will Brennan combine to fill the corner outfield spots. • Yu Darvish spins five scoreless frames vs. Cubs
Yu Darvish tossed five shutout innings on Monday in a no-decision against the Cubs.

Advice: Darvish has reeled off 10 consecutive scoreless frames in a pair of starts since returning from a two-week absence due to neck tightness. The 37-year-old veteran righty finished with five strikeouts, and only issued one walk, scattering three hits over five frames in his return to Wrigley Field. He generated 15 swinging strikes and finished with a respectable 28 percent CSW, despite throwing 62 of 83 pitches for strikes. He’ll bring a strong 2.94 ERA, 1.10 WHIP and 30/11 K/BB ratio across 33 2/3 innings (seven starts) into a challenging matchup on Sunday against the division-rival Dodgers. • Maikel Garcia drives in two in win against MIL
Maikel Garcia went 1-for-2 with a two-run RBI single to help lift the Royals to a 3-2 win versus the Brewers on Monday.

Advice: It wasn’t pretty, but it got the job done. Garcia got great contact on a sinker off Elvis Peguero in the sixth inning that got in between shortstop and second base. According to Statcast, the hit probability was just 41%, but with an exit velocity of 106.5 MPH, Garcia definitely earned the hit. The 24-year-old is slashing .236/.292/.671 with four homers and 22 RBI this season. Rotoworld Today, 8:36 pm

    • Bryse Wilson throws six scoreless innings in no-decision
Bryse Wilson didn’t allow a run and stuck out six batters in six innings of work against the Royals on Monday.

Advice: Impressive. Prior to April 17, Wilson hadn’t made a start in the majors since September 2022. Since then, the 26-year-old has made four starts for Milwaukee and has allowed three total runs in those 20 innings. As a reliever? He’s allowed five earned runs across 10 innings this season. The move seems to be the right one for Milwaukee, however they’ll need to give him some run support if he’s to pick up some wins. Wilson now has a 1.35 ERA, 0.95 WHIP with a 10/1 K/BB ratio as a starter this season. Rotoworld Today, 8:21 pm

    • Wins with scoreless outing
Darvish (2-1) yielded three hits and a walk over five shutout frames Monday, striking out five and earning a win over the Cubs.

Advice: Darvish scattered baserunners throughout his outing but ultimately kept the Cubs quiet for five innings. He was 0-1 with a 4.18 ERA before a brief stint on the injured list. Since returning, he's fired 10 shutout frames and dropped that number to 2.94 across seven starts. Darvish matched his season best with 15 swinging strikes, eight of which came via the slider. Darvish is in line for a tough home matchup with the Dodgers this weekend. Rotowire.com Today, 8:19 pm

    • No win in scoreless outing
Wilson allowed a hit and three walks over six shutout frames in a no-decision Monday. He struck out six while the Brewers lost to Kansas City.

Advice: Wilson was in line for a win before the Royals plated three runs in the seventh inning right after he left the contest. The lone hit he gave up was a single and Kansas City never posed much of a threat during his outing. He also generated a season-high 11 whiffs. Wilson dropped his ERA to 2.40 with a 27:10 K:BB through 30 innings. As things stand, he currently projects for a home matchup with St. Louis this weekend. Rotowire.com Today, 7:08 pm

    • Punches out five in loss
Anderson (2-4) took the loss Monday, allowing four runs on six hits and three walks over 6.1 innings against Pittsburgh. He struck out five.

Advice: Anderson allowed all four runs Monday night on one swing -- a 424-foot grand slam by Edward Olivares in the third inning. Although the Angels southpaw sports a 2.74 ERA in 42.2 innings, tougher times may lie ahead, as he has been aided greatly by a .205 BABIP. Anderson is slated to make his next start against the Royals at home. Rotowire.com Today, 7:08 pm
    • Tyler Anderson picks up fourth loss against Pirates
Tyler Anderson allowed four earned runs in 6 1/3 innings in a loss against the Pirates on Monday.

Advice: Anderson has recorded a loss in four of his past five starts after picking up back-to-back wins in his first two starts of the season. His ERA has ballooned from 1.78 to 2.74 over his last two starts as the 34-year-old has given up 3 or more earned runs in those contests. After a hot start to the season, it appears regression has hit Anderson, which was to be expected. Rotoworld Today, 6:02 pm
