  • Gets aboard three times in win
Burleson went 2-for-3 with a walk, a stolen base and one run scored in Monday's 6-3 win over the Orioles.

Advice: Burleson upped his hitting streak to six games (12-for-25), and five of those contests have been multi-hit efforts. He also has two homers, two steals, four RBI and six runs scored in that span. Burleson isn't known for his speed -- he's at two steals in 2024, one shy of last year's mark, which he achieved in 107 games. The outfielder has added a strong .301/.333/.472 slash line with five home runs, 17 RBI, 11 runs scored and six doubles over 129 plate appearances. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 10:01 pm
  • Nolan Schanuel hits three-run homer in Angels’ win
Nolan Schanuel went 2-for-5 and hit a three-run homer Monday as the Angels outlasted the Astros 9-7.

Advice: Schanuel’s exit velocity numbers aren’t the least bit impressive, but he’s having enough success pulling flyballs that he’s now hit five homers, even though his longest drive of the year is 381 feet. We still wouldn’t want to roster him in mixed leagues at the moment, but it bodes well for the future. Rotoworld Yesterday, 8:24 pm
  • Yainer Diaz does 2-for-4, scores twice in loss
Yainer Diaz went 2-for-4 with a double and an RBI against the Angels on Monday.

Advice: Diaz was also robbed of a possible homer by Jo Adell at the right field wall in the ninth. That was actually his softest hit ball of the night. His EVs in the game were 110.7 mph, 107.8 mph, 103.7 mph and 98.4 mph. His hard-hit rate now stands at 51%, which is particularly impressive in combination with a 14% strikeout rate. • Perez blasts ninth home run Monday
Salvador Perez went 2-for-4 with a solo home run against the Tigers on Monday.

Advice: The home run was Perez’ ninth of the season. It came in the sixth inning off Tigers reliever Joey Wentz. Perez is now 16-for-41 (.390) against left-handed pitchers this season. He’s hitting an incredible .341 overall. The 34-year-old is a career .269 hitter and has never even hit .300 in a single-season where he’s played at least 100 games.

  • Josh Bell delievers walk-off hit against Brewers
Josh Bell went 2-for-4 with a game-winning RBI single on Monday, leading the Marlins to a 3-2 walk-off victory over the Brewers in a 10-inning marathon.

Advice: Bell sent the Marlins faithful home in winning fashion with a sharp ground-ball single to right field in the 10th inning after Miami rallied in the previous frame to send the contest to extra innings. The switch-hitting 31-year-old slugger is batting .235/.320/.372 with 21 runs scored, six homers and 25 RBI across 207 plate appearances. Rotoworld Yesterday, 7:05 pm
  • Raley has three-hit game Monday
Luke Raley went 3-for-4 with a run scored against the Yankees on Monday.

Advice: Raley continues to produce as his average is up to .311 after the three hits on Monday. The Mariners certainly value him after trading for him in the offseason. Raley will continue to see regular playing time against right-handed pitching. Rotoworld Yesterday, 6:59 pm
  • David Fry drives in two, steals base in win
David Fry delivered a two-run single and also stole a base on Monday, leading the Guardians to a 3-1 victory over the Mets.

Advice: Fry kicked off the scoring with a two-run single off Mets starter Tylor Megill in the opening frame. He also walked and stole a base -- his third theft of the season -- in the fourth inning as well. The unheralded 28-year-old is off to a strong start this year, batting .329 (26-for-79) with four homers, 16 RBI and three steals in 32 contests. Rotoworld Yesterday, 6:03 pm

  • Hitting in batting cage
Drury (hamstring) will hit in the batting cage Monday, Jeff Fletcher of The Orange County Register reports.

Advice: Drury is ready to begin reincorporating baseball activities as he works his way back from a left hamstring strain. Running will certainly be a bigger test than hitting, though, and it's not clear when he might be ready to do that. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 1:52 pm
  • Matt Olsen hits sixth homer against Padres
Matt Olson went 2-for-4 with a homer and two RBI versus the Padres in the first game of Monday’s doubleheader.

Advice: Olson’s homer, a no-doubter off Dylan Cease, was his sixth of the year. That’s way off last year’s pace, but his barrel and hard-hit rates are completely intact. There’s some bad luck involved here, but it also seems to be the case that balls just aren’t traveling as far this year as they did last season. Rotoworld Yesterday, 1:38 pm
