  • Serving as 27th man Tuesday
The Dodgers recalled Ramirez from Triple-A Oklahoma City on Tuesday, Eric Stephen of SBNation.com reports.

Advice: Ramirez will serve as the 27th man for the Dodgers during their doubleheader against the Mets. The left-handed reliever has permitted four runs with a 3:5 K:BB over 9.1 innings during his time in the majors this season. Rotowire.com Today, 10:12 am
  • Twins move Justin Topa (knee) to 60-day IL
Twins transferred RHP Justin Topa (knee) to the 60-day injured list.

Advice: Topa is hoping to return this year, but the 33-year-old is currently dealing with a partial tear in his left patellar tendon. The right-hander clears room on the 40-man roster for Diego Castillo. Rotoworld Today, 10:10 am
  • Nabs third hold of season
Vodnik gave up two hits and no walks over 1.1 scoreless innings in relief en route to collecting his third hold of the season in Monday's 8-6 win over the Guardians.

Advice: Vodnik has largely worked in middle relief this season, but the Rockies are gradually starting to trust him in higher-leverage spots. He's now claimed holds in both of his last two appearances and is maintaining a 2.93 ERA, 1.47 WHIP and 23:12 K:BB over 30.2 innings on the season. Rotowire.com Today, 9:27 am
  • Records five outs in first start
Molina gave up three earned runs on two hits and three walks across 1.2 innings in Monday's 8-6 win over the Guardians.

Advice: Molina stepped in for his first MLB start on short notice after Austin Gomber (arm) was scratched ahead of the game, but the Rule 5 pick ended up serving as more of an opener than a traditional starting pitcher. He needed 45 pitches just to record five outs before being pulled in favor of Josh Rogers, who tossed five innings of two-run ball in bulk relief. If Gomber ends up landing on the injured list and isn't able to make his next turn this weekend in Los Angeles, Rogers would likely be the preferred choice over Molina to make a spot start or cover the bulk of the innings. • Headed to injured list
Pirates manager Derek Shelton said Tuesday in an interview with 93.7 The Fan Pittsburgh that Perez (groin) will be placed on the 15-day injured list.

Advice: Perez suffered a left groin injury during Sunday's start against Atlanta, and while the severity is unclear at the moment, it's evidently bad enough that the left-hander will be sidelined for at least a couple weeks. Quinn Priester looms as an obvious candidate to replace Perez in the Pittsburgh rotation. Perez's next turn will come up Sunday in Toronto. Rotowire.com Today, 9:21 am
  • Martin Pérez heading to IL with groin injury
Pirates manager Derek Shelton told reporters that Martin Pérez will be placed on the injured list with his groin injury.

Advice: Pérez left Sunday’s start against Atlanta with a left groin injury, and the southpaw will now miss at least a couple of weeks while he’s away from the team. There’s no word yet as to who will take Pérez’s place in the rotation, but Pittsburgh will have to add a new arm to the group over the weekend. Quinn Priester could make sense, as he pitched Sunday and would be on turn for Pérez’s spot. Rotoworld Today, 9:16 am
  • Up as 27th man
The Mets recalled Nunez from Triple-A Syracuse on Tuesday, Tim Healey of Newsday reports.

Advice: Nunez will serve as the Mets' 27th man for Tuesday's doubleheader against the Dodgers and will be available for both games. The right-handed reliever has made four appearances with the big club this season, allowing three runs with a 10:2 K:BB over 6.1 frames. He will likely be sent back down after the doubleheader. • Dedniel Núñez to serve as 27th player for Mets
Dedniel Nunez will be the 27th player for the Mets on Tuesday for their doubleheader against the Dodgers.

Advice: Núñez will be available to play in both games for the doubleheader. He’ll then either need to be recalled by the Mets to stay on the roster, or he’ll report back to Triple-A Syracuse. Rotoworld Today, 8:59 am
  • Gets knee evaluated
Hall had his left knee evaluated in Milwaukee on Monday, Todd Rosiak of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports. "We have no indication that [the knee injury] worse than [a tweak] right now," Brewers assistant general manager Matt Kleine said. "But we just want to be conservative. There's no sense in rushing through it or pushing through it at this point."

Advice: Hall was placed on the 15-day injured list April 21 due to a left knee sprain but was cleared to begin a rehab assignment with High-A Wisconsin on May 19. After making a one-inning appearance for Wisconsin, Hall moved his rehab to Triple-A Nashville last Thursday, and he tossed a scoreless, 16-pitch inning while sporting a fastball that sat around 94-to-95 miles per hour, per MLB.com. Brewers manager Pat Murphy said after Thursday's rehab outing that Hall tweaked his knee late in the appearance after his cleat got caught in the field. Though the Brewers don't appear to be too concerned about Hall's health, the team will wait on the results from Monday's evaluation before determining whether the left-hander is ready to cover multiple innings in his next rehab start.
