    • Another big day at plate
Buxton went 2-for-4 with a double, a homer and four RBI in Saturday's win over Seattle.

Advice: Buxton doubled home Carlos Santana with two outs in the fourth to put Minnesota on top 2-1 and later added a three-run shot in the sixth to extend the lead, giving him his fourth home run in his last five games. The outfielder has also tallied multiple hits in four of his last five, posting 11 RBI and eight runs over that stretch while striking out just one time. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 7:56 am
    • Byron Buxton homers, plates four to sink Mariners
Byron Buxton went 2-for-4 with a three-run homer and four RBI on Saturday, powering the Twins to a decisive 5-1 victory over the Mariners.

Advice: Buxton served as Minnesota’s primary offensive catalyst on Saturday night at T-Mobile Park, smacking a tie-breaking RBI double into the left-field corner off Seattle starter Bryce Miller in the fourth inning before walloping a three-run shot - his eighth round-tripper of the year - against reliever Trent Thornton a few frames later. The 30-year-old center fielder got off to an extremely frosty start at the dish this season, but he’s been on fire over the last few weeks, batting .389 (21-for-54) with five homers and two steals over his last 15 games. There will be ebbs and flows with Buxton over the next few months, but he should undoubtedly be rostered in all fantasy formats until further notice. Rotoworld Yesterday, 3:52 am
    • Julio Rodríguez goes hitless Saturday vs. Twins
Julio Rodríguez went 0-for-4 on Saturday in the Mariners’ loss to the Twins.

Advice: It’s been a trying first half for Rodríguez, who went hitless during Saturday’s losing effort despite a scalding a 102-mph line-drive off Twins starter Pablo López in the third inning that went for a lineout. The 23-year-old franchise cornerstone’s latest hitless performance drops his full-season batting average back down to a pedestrian .248 mark. The even more problematic development for fantasy purposes is that he’s gone deep just seven times this season, with nearly half of those coming over his last 30 games. He’s mired in an extended tailspin at the dish right now, batting .138 (8-for-58) with two homers and zero steals over his last 15 games. Rotoworld Yesterday, 3:50 am
    • Kwan has two-hit game in win over Royals Saturday
Steven Kwan went 2-for-5 with a run scored against the Royals on Saturday.

Advice: Kwan had only one hit in his last three games, but bounced back with a two-hit game in Kansas City. Kwan has scored 49 runs in 55 games this year. He’s hitting .371 with a .969 OPS and 24 RBI on the season. Rotoworld Saturday, 4:09 pm

    • Michael Harris II not cleared to resume running
Michael Harris II (hamstring) has been throwing and taking swings but has yet to be cleared to resume running.

Advice: The dynamic 23-year-old outfielder is making progress in his recovery from a Grade 2 left hamstring strain, but it’s hard to put a clear timetable on a potential return to the Braves’ lineup until he starts running again. Expect Ramon Laureano to continue to see increased playing time in the Braves’ outfield at least through the All-Star break. Rotoworld Friday, 3:32 pm

    • Byron Buxton not in Twins’ lineup on Friday
Byron Buxton is not in the Twins’ starting lineup for Friday night’s soiree against the Mariners in Seattle.

Advice: The Twins have been sure to mix in the occasional off-day into Buxton’s schedule this season as a way to keep him healthy and fresh. It’s an interesting spot for one though after he went 3-for-4 with a three-run homer on Thursday afternoon. Expect him to return to the starting lineup on Saturday. Rotoworld Friday, 2:21 pm
    • Receiving breather
Buxton is out of the lineup for Friday's game against Seattle.

Advice: Buxton has 11 hits in his last seven games, including three homers and four doubles. However, he'll take a seat Friday after making five consecutive starts. Manuel Margot will bat eighth and play center field. Rotowire.com Friday, 2:16 pm
    • Yet to resume running
Harris (hamstring) has not yet been cleared to begin a running program, David O'Brien of The Athletic reports.

Advice: Harris is two weeks removed from suffering a Grade 2 left hamstring strain, and while he's feeling better, it's not yet to the point where he's able to do any running. With just over two weeks until the All-Star break, it's possible Atlanta will hold Harris out until the start of the second half. Jarred Kelenic has been handling center field with Harris out. • Kyle Schwarber goes on 10-day IL with groin strain
Phillies placed DH Kyle Schwarber on the 10-day injured list with a left groin strain.

Advice: With Schwarber out, the Phillies have Bryson Stott leading off and Nick Castellanos DHing tonight. Whit Merrifield is playing left field, with Brandon Marsh suffered to right. It could be a common arrangement until Schwarber gets back. The Phillies are hoping he’ll miss the minimum 10 days, though they could always be cautious and hold him out through the break.
