    • Launches 13th homer
Raleigh went 1-for-2 with a solo home run, a stolen base and two walks in Monday's 4-3 loss to Tampa Bay.

Advice: Raleigh slugged his 13th home run of the season, his first since June 10. The 27-year-old has batted just .178 over the past two weeks, but he has added two home runs, three doubles, two stolen bases and 11 RBI during that span. Rotowire.com Monday, 8:01 pm

    • Cal Raleigh homers, steals base in loss to Rays
Cal Raleigh belted a solo homer and also stole a base on Monday in the Mariners’ loss to the Rays.

Advice: The aptly named “Big Dumper” isn’t exactly known for his stolen base prowess, but he’s flashes strong instincts on the bases throughout his career, and is now up to three thefts on the year. He connected for a fourth-inning solo shot off Rays starter Taj Bradley for his 13th long ball of the year. It was the first time he’s left the yard since June 10, snapping a 12-game homerless drought in the process. Rotoworld Monday, 7:42 pm

    • Clubs homer
Bailey went 1-for-4 with a solo home run during Sunday's 5-3 loss to the Cardinals.

Advice: Bailey got the Giants on the scoreboard in the seventh inning, breaking up Sonny Gray's perfect game with a two-out solo home run. The long ball was Bailey's sixth of the season and his second in the last five games. The 25-year-old is batting 10-for-26 (.385) with four runs and two RBI in his last six games. • Patrick Bailey homers in loss to Cardinals
Patrick Bailey went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in a loss to the Cardinals on Sunday.

Advice: Bailey crushed a 425-foot shot off of Sonny Gray in the seventh inning at 104 mph for his sixth big fly of the year. Bailey is also slashing .292/.362/.444 and has been tremendous for the Giants when not on the IL as he battled concussion issues. He’s playing well enough and starting often enough that he can be rostered in one-catcher leagues far more regularly. Rotoworld Sunday, 3:16 pm
    • Out of lineup Sunday
Raleigh is not in the starting lineup for Sunday's game against the Marlins.

Advice: Raleigh will begin Sunday's game in the dugout after going 1-for-8 with one RBI over the first two games of the series. Mitch Garver will start behind home plate and bat seventh against Miami right-hander Kyle Tyler. Rotowire.com Sunday, 10:35 am

    • Cal Raleigh slips below Mendoza Line in loss
Cal Raleigh went 0-for-4 with two strikeouts against the Marlins on Friday.

Advice: Raleigh often seems to come up with the big hit, but the little hit has been a problem this year, as he’s batted just .198/.276/.380 in 272 plate appearances. The Mariners aren’t going to change much about his usage, but maybe they’ll give him the occasional extra day off and roll with Mitch Garver behind the plate. Rotoworld Friday, 9:56 pm

    • Four hits in loss
Bailey went 4-for-5 in Thursday's 6-5 loss to the Cardinals.

Advice: Bailey is 14-for-37 (.378) over his last 10 games, and the lone contest in that span in which he failed to log a hit was one where he appeared off the bench. While the catcher is making consistent contact, it hasn't been particularly powerful -- he has just two extra-base hits in that span. Overall, he's at a .299/.367/.439 slash line with five homers, two stolen bases, 23 RBI, 19 runs scored and eight doubles through 50 contests. Rotowire.com Friday, 10:20 am
    • Resting Thursday
Raleigh is out of the lineup for Thursday's game against the Guardians.

Advice: Raleigh had started in each of the last five games and was behind the plate Sunday, Tuesday and Wednesday, so he'll be given a maintenance day as the Mariners wrap up their series in Cleveland. Mitch Garver will pick up a start at catcher Thursday. Rotowire.com Thursday, 7:51 am

    • On bench versus lefty
Bailey is not in the starting lineup Tuesday against the Cubs.

Advice: Bailey will take a seat as the team faces off with left-hander Justin Steele of Chicago. Curt Casali will take over at catcher and bat ninth Tuesday. Bailey is in a platoon behind the plate with Casali, typically handling the starts versus right-handers while Casali enters the lineup versus southpaws. Rotowire.com Tuesday, 2:32 pm
