    • Expected back by mid-May
Poche (back) is not expected to spend much more than a minimum stint on the injured list, MLB.com reports.

Advice: Poche received an injection in his back shortly after landing on the injured list Friday. He's rested since, but will presumably resume throwing in short order. If Poche is able to return before Pete Fairbanks (arm), he could factor into the saves picture in Tampa Bay. Rotowire.com 46 minutes ago
    • Jeff Hoffman notches second save for Phillies
Jeff Hoffman notched his second save with a perfect ninth Tuesday against the Angels.

Advice: We’re still holding out hope that Orion Kerkering will get some of these chances, but Hoffman’s velocity is back up after looking like it might be an issue this spring and he’ll likely remain an excellent reliever. He’s probably a fringe option in 10- and 12-team leagues, but he should be useful in deeper formats. Rotoworld Yesterday, 11:34 pm
    • Carlos Estévez gives up two homers in taking loss
Carlos Estévez took his second blown save and a loss after giving up three runs and two homers in the ninth Tuesday against the Mariners.

Advice: The good news for Estévez is that, with Robert Stephenson out for the year and José Soriano in the rotation, he has no competition at the moment. Still, his stuff is definitely down from last year, and he hasn’t shown much improvement there from the beginning of the spring. It’s unlikely that he’ll be replaced right away, but Soriano might eventually supplant him if Chase Silseth rejoins the rotation. Rotoworld Yesterday, 11:34 pm
    • Nabs win in matinee
Liberatore (1-1) pitched a perfect inning and struck out two batters to earn the win in Game 1 of Tuesday's doubleheader versus the Tigers.

Advice: Liberatore bounced back from his first loss of the season Sunday with a clean outing in the eighth inning Tuesday. The Cardinals then rallied ahead in the ninth, and Ryan Helsley closed the door for a save. Liberatore has been solid with a 2.93 ERA, 1.17 WHIP and 9:8 K:BB through 15.1 innings over 11 appearances as a multi-inning relief option this season. Tuesday also marked the first time in six appearances he avoided walking a batter. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 11:32 pm
    • Bryce Jarvis hurls three scoreless in relief
Bryce Jarvis allowed just one hit and no runs over three innings in relief against the Dodgers on Tuesday.

Advice: Jarvis worked the bulk innings after Jordan Montgomery was scratched Tuesday, and he did his job and then some. He was able to land 25-of-41 pitches for strikes with four strikeouts, and he reminded why this was a first-round pick back in 2020. Jarvis will remain a multi-inning reliever without fantasy significance for the time being, but there is talent in that right arm. Rotoworld Yesterday, 11:24 pm
    • Andrés Muñoz gets five-out save against ATL
Andrés Muñoz pitched the final 1 2/3 innings to get a save against Atlanta on Tuesday.

Advice: Muñoz did allow an inherited runner to score with a throwing error. After that snafu the right-hander was absolutely dominant while picking up three strikeouts along with his fifth save of the season. Muñoz does have occasional hiccups with his command, but there aren’t many pitchers in baseball who have better swing-and-miss stuff. Rotoworld Yesterday, 10:47 pm
    • Reynaldo López allows three over five in loss
Reynaldo López allowed three runs in five innings while picking up a loss Tuesday to the Mariners.

Advice: López allowed six hits over those five frames, and he struck out seven while walking three with Josh Rojas getting all three free passes. The 30-year-old pitched better than his line suggested, but a two-run homer by Jorge Polanco turned an excellent outing into a shaky one from a fantasy perspective. Lopez still has an excellent 1.50 ERA, and he should be in fantasy lineups against Boston next week. Rotoworld Yesterday, 10:47 pm
    • Mason Miller strikes out side in earning save
Mason Miller struck out all three batters he faced Tuesday for a save against the Pirates.

Advice: It’s fine to marvel at Miller’s numbers in the closer’s role to date, but this is what an ace-level talent should be doing while pitching two or three innings per week. There’s a very good chance Miller would struggle to hold up as a starter, but we might never find out for sure. As is, Miller has a 1.35 ERA and eight saves in 13 1/3 innings. • Has nightmare ninth
Estevez (0-1) blew the save and took the loss Tuesday, allowing three runs on three hits with two strikeouts over two-thirds of an inning against Philadelphia.

Advice: Each of the three hits against Estevez went for extra bases, with Nick Castellanos hitting a solo homer and Johan Rojas bringing in Bryson Stott -- who reached on a ground-rule double -- on a two-run homer to give the Phillies the lead. Estevez has now surrendered one or more runs in three of his last four appearances, a stretch that ballooned his ERA from 0.00 to 6.23 and resulted in a pair of blown saves. While his closing job seems to be safe for now, Matt Moore and Luis Garcia would be the names to know if Estevez begins to cede ninth-inning work. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 10:22 pm
