The third baseman has gone 14-for-39 (.359) during his nine-game hitting streak, and he's added three steals, eight RBI and nine runs scored in that span. The rookie is batting a robust .441 over his last 10 contests and he's recorded three or more hits in a game three times already this month. Keith came into May batting just .154 but he's pushed that up to .230, and the 22-year-old has a prospect pedigree that suggests he'll be able to sustain this level of play.     Vierling went 2-for-4 with a triple, a run scored and two RBI in Tuesday's 10-3 loss to the Royals.

    Advice: Vierling picked up the start at third base and recorded his first multi-hit game in two weeks. The 27-year-old has shifted back to a utility role with Gio Urshela healthy once again, though the Tigers will continue to find spot starts for Vierling to keep the veteran Urshela healthy.     Matt Chapman went 2-for-5 with a solo home run in a loss to the Pirates on Tuesday.

    Advice: Chapman had three of the four hardest-hit balls on the Giants during the game. He had a 113.1 mph groundout, a 106.4 mph double, and a 104.8 mph home run that traveled 414 feet. He also added another 103.2 mph groundout, so it’s safe to say he was seeing the ball pretty well on Tuesday. The veteran is now 19-for-68 (.279) with two home runs, 15 runs scored, and eight RBI during May. He continues to hit cleanup for the Giants every game and is an underrated fantasy option.   • Matt Vierling drives in two in loss to Royals
    Matt Vierling went 2-for-4 with two RBI in the Tigers’ loss to the Royals.

    Advice: Vierling drove in two of the Tigers’ three runs they scored in the fourth inning. His one-out triple brought home Wencel Pérez and Mark Canha and helped cut into what was an 8-0 deficit at the time. Vierling has now driven in 18 runs on the season while also adding three homers.   • Elly De La Cruz has game’s only RBI in win
    Elly De La Cruz went 2-for-4 with a double and an RBI in a win over the Padres on Tuesday.

    Advice: The double accounted for the only RBI of the game, but it wasn’t particularly well hit at just 86 mph off the bat. It was just one of those nights where neither offense seemed to get anything going.   • José Ramirez has two hits, HR in win over Mets
    José Ramirez went 2-for-4 with a home run and three RBI in a win over the Mets on Tuesday.

    Advice: Ramirez’s home run was a 380-foot shot off Adrian Houser at 101.5 mph off the bat for his 12th big fly of the season. He also added a two-out RBI double to give him 44 RBI on the season. The batting average may not be what fantasy managers are hoping for, but Ramirez is hitting the ball well and should be back to something resembling his usual triple slash in no time.   • Turner accounts for one of two Blue Jays’ hits
    Justin Turner went 1-for-3 with a double in the Blue Jays’ loss to the White Sox.

    Advice: Turner ended a seven-game hitless streak in this one, but he and the Jays struggled to get the offense going. Toronto managed just two hits and a walk on the evening while striking out nine times as a team. Turner, who hit .300 through the first month of the season, is hitting a dismal .085 in the month of May, going 4-for-47 at the plate.
