Keller (9-4) picked up the win in Tuesday's 9-5 victory over the Reds, giving up four runs (three runs) on six hits and three walks over 5.2 innings. He struck out six.

Advice: An Oneil Cruz error and a hit by pitch helped load the bases in the third inning, but Keller escaped the jam by striking out Jeimer Candelario and Spencer Steer. The right-hander seemed to run out of gas after that, eventually getting tagged for three runs in the fifth and one more in the sixth as he fell short of his 10th quality start of the season. Keller has still allowed more than three earned runs only once in nine outings since the beginning of May, going 7-1 over that stretch with a 1.85 ERA, 1.05 WHIP and 52:12 K:BB through 58.1 innings. Advice: Ryan's run of three straight quality starts came to a close, as Arizona got to him early Tuesday. All four runs on his line were surrendered over the first two innings, though he was able to settle down and exit at 86 pitches (58 strikes). This was the fourth time in 2024 that Ryan avoided walking a batter. He's now at a 3.31 ERA, 0.96 WHIP and 100:15 K:BB over 98 innings through 16 starts. Austin Gomber allowed eight hits and five earned runs over 5 1/3 innings in Tuesday’s loss to the Astros.

Advice: Gomber was tuned up for six hits and five earned runs in the first inning, as the Astros sent all nine hitters to the plate against the Rockies’ lefty. It was a flurry of singles off Gomber that resulted in the five-run frame, with the last resulting in a two-RBI hit by Chas McCormick. Gomber needed 33 pitches to get through the inning but later settled in to pitch 4 1/3 scoreless frames the rest of the way. Still, the early disaster proved to be too much for Gomber, as the Rockies managed just six hits on the night against the Astros. Gomber has allowed four earned runs or more in each of his last four starters. Fantasy managers should look elsewhere for starters next Monday, as he’s set to start against the Brewers. Crochet took a no-decision against the Dodgers on Monday, allowing five hits and striking out six batters over 5.2 scoreless innings.

Advice: Crochet was on his game with 16 whiffs and six punchouts against one of MLB's top offenses, but Dodgers starter James Paxton traded scoreless frames with him, and both hurlers had to settle for a no-decision. Crochet continues to impress in what has been a breakout first campaign as a starter -- he lowered his ERA to 3.05 with Monday's outing and ranks second in the league with 130 strikeouts. The Dodgers are shutting down Clayton Kershaw for a week to address the soreness in his shoulder.
