    Carlos Santana smashed a two-run homer on Monday, powering the Twins to a 3-2 victory over the White Sox.

    Advice: Santana took southpaw Garrett Crochet deep in the second inning for his fourth round-tripper in his last five games after going 20 straight games without a big fly to open the season. The 38-year-old’s recent hot streak is enough to keep his bat in the lineup moving forward, but his on-base skills have eroded to the point that it’s fair to question how much longer he’s going to stick around for Minnesota.     Luke Zahlmann of The Denver Gazette reports that Nolan Jones (back) is likely headed to the injured list.

    Advice: Jones was removed from Sunday’s game with stiffness in his back. The 25-year-old will be replaced on the roster by prospect Jordan Beck, with the transaction likely announced Tuesday.     Justin Turner went 2-for-5 with two home runs and three RBI in Monday’s 6-5 win against the Royals.

    Advice: Turner has dominated the Royals this season. In five games against Kansas City this season, Turner is 6-for-14 (.429 AVG) with two homers and four RBI. It was the 39-year-old’s first multi HR game since last June when he hit two round trippers against the Yankees. Turner is boasting a .923 OPS through 28 games this season and if he’s producing like this, he’ll be a great addition to fantasy managers given he wasn’t much of a hot commodity heading into the season.   • Will continue rehab stint
    Davis (thigh) will remain on a rehab assignment at Triple-A Las Vegas at least until Thursday, Martin Gallegos of MLB.com reports.

    Advice: Davis got through Sunday's rehab appearance at Triple-A Las Vegas without issue, but the club evidently wants to see him get a few more chances in the minors before activating him from the 10-day IL.
