• Hits go-ahead home run
Morel went 1-for-4 with a two-run home run in Monday's 3-1 win over the Mets.

Advice: Morel was hitless until the ninth inning, when he delivered a two-out home run with a runner on against New York closer Edwin Diaz to break open a 1-1 tie. The key blast was Morel's fourth of the season and first since April 9. He's not off to as fast of a start as he had last year, but the 24-year-old can heat up in a hurry, and perhaps this effort will provide the spark. Rotowire.com Today, 7:25 pm

  • Justin Turner homers twice in win vs. Royals
Justin Turner went 2-for-5 with two home runs and three RBI in Monday’s 6-5 win against the Royals.

Advice: Turner has dominated the Royals this season. In five games against Kansas City this season, Turner is 6-for-14 (.429 AVG) with two homers and four RBI. It was the 39-year-old’s first multi HR game since last June when he hit two round trippers against the Yankees. Turner is boasting a .923 OPS through 28 games this season and if he’s producing like this, he’ll be a great addition to fantasy managers given he wasn’t much of a hot commodity heading into the season. • Sitting vs. lefty
Rojas isn't in the starting lineup for Monday's game against Atlanta.

Advice: Rojas will be available off the bench as the Mariners face off against lefty Max Fried in the series opener. Luis Urias draws the start at the hot corner and will bat eighth as a result. Rotowire.com Today, 7:04 pm

  • Christopher Morel hits go-ahead homer to sink Mets
Christopher Morel slugged a go-ahead two-run homer on Monday, powering the Cubs to a 3-1 victory over the Mets.

Advice: Morel stunned the New York faithful at Citi Field with a tie-breaking ninth-inning blast to left-center field off Mets stopper Edwin Díaz. It was his fourth big fly of the season and snapped a 16-game homerless drought dating back to April 9. Rotoworld Today, 6:29 pm

  • Shut down from activity
Gelof (oblique) is currently shut down from baseball activity, Martin Gallegos of MLB.com reports.

Advice: Gelof was placed on the 10-day injured list Thursday with a strained left oblique, but he appears to be on track to miss more than the minimum amount of days. The 24-year-old will likely need to ramp his activity over a series of days before he could ultimately be activated. In the meantime, Max Schuemann will likely continue to handle the lion's share of work at second base with Oakland in Gelof's absence. Rotowire.com Today, 4:41 pm

  • Gelof (oblique) shut down from baseball activities
Zack Gelof (oblique) has been shut down from baseball activities.

Advice: That’s not good. Gelof was placed on the injured list with a left oblique strain Thursday, and it sounds like the 24-year-old won’t be ready to roll when he’s eligible to be activated in the early portion of May. Fantasy managers who are counting on Gelof should probably look elsewhere for a short-term — and potentially longer — replacement. Rotoworld Today, 4:25 pm

  • Josh Rojas taking seat against lefty Monday
Josh Rojas is not in the starting lineup for Monday’s game against Atlanta.

Advice: Rojas is currently on a platoon with Luis Urias, and it’ll be Urias manning the hot corner with left-hander Max Fried on the bump for Atlanta. Seattle will also have Sam Haggerty in left field against the southpaw after recalling the versatile infielder/outfielder from Triple-A Tacoma. Rotoworld Today, 4:03 pm

  • Brandon Lowe (oblique) undergoes MRI
Rays manager Kevin Cash told reporters that Brandon Lowe got “pretty good” results on the MRI on his oblique.

Advice: “We’ll just kind of take it day to day, Cash told reporters. Ok. Lowe has been out of the lineup since early in April with the strain, and it doesn’t sound like there’s a concrete timetable for when the infielder will return. Curtis Mead will continue to see the majority of time at second base while Lowe is on the shelf. Rotoworld Today, 4:00 pm

  • Tee work from both sides of plate
Edman (wrist) took swings off a tee from both sides of the plate last week, Derrick Goold of the St. Louis Post-Dispatch reports.

Advice: Edman had been limited to hitting only from the right side due to lingering concerns about his surgically repaired right wrist. However, he's now progressed to hitting from both sides of the dish and has done so without any soreness. Edman will continue a hitting progression as tolerated and appears far off from a return, but he's progressing. Rotowire.com Today, 3:18 pm
