• David Fry drives in two, steals base in win
David Fry delivered a two-run single and also stole a base on Monday, leading the Guardians to a 3-1 victory over the Mets.

Advice: Fry kicked off the scoring with a two-run single off Mets starter Tylor Megill in the opening frame. He also walked and stole a base -- his third theft of the season -- in the fourth inning as well. The unheralded 28-year-old is off to a strong start this year, batting .329 (26-for-79) with four homers, 16 RBI and three steals in 32 contests. Rotoworld Yesterday, 6:03 pm

  • Emmanuel Clase lowers ERA to 0.37 on Monday
Emmanuel Clase tossed a perfect ninth inning on Monday against the Mets to record his league-leading 14th save of the season.

Advice: Clase was summoned to protect a two-run lead in the final frame and needed just 12 pitches (seven strikes) to end the contest. The 26-year-old elite stopper has converted a major league-leading 14 of 17 save opportunities to go along with a microscopic 0.37 ERA, 0.58 WHIP and 24/2 K/BB ratio across 24 1/3 innings (25 appearances). He hasn’t allowed an earned run since April 14. Rotoworld Yesterday, 6:03 pm
  • Ben Lively strikes out seven to defeat Mets
Ben Lively allowed one run over 5 2/3 innings on Monday in a win over the Mets.

Advice: Lively’s unexpected hot start continued in this one as he allowed three earned runs or fewer for the seventh consecutive start since making his season debut back on April 17. He matched a season-high with seven strikeouts and didn’t hand out a free pass. A third-inning solo shot by light-hitting backstop Tomás Nido represented the lone tally against him in this one. He’ll bring a strong 2.84 ERA, 1.24 WHIP and 38/12 K/BB ratio across 38 innings (seven starts) into a favorable road matchup on Sunday against the Angels. Rotoworld Yesterday, 6:02 pm

  • Tylor Megill fans seven in loss to Guardians
Tylor Megill was charged with three runs (two earned) over five innings on Monday in a loss to the Guardians.

Advice: Megill notched seven strikeouts and only issued a pair of walks. The 28-year-old righty got into trouble right away in his return from the injured list following a seven-week absence, coughing up a two-run single to David Fry in the opening frame. He managed to settle in afterwards, limiting Cleveland to just one run over his final four innings of work. He induced 13 swinging strikes and finished with a pedestrian 26 percent CSW. He’ll face the Dodgers on Monday at Citi Field in his next outing. Rotoworld Yesterday, 6:02 pm
  • Vasquez posts quality start Monday
Randy Vasquez allowed three runs in six innings and took the loss against the Braves on Monday.

Advice: Vasquez, who was acquired from the Yankees in the Juan Soto trade, really battled in this start. Despite allowing 10 hits and having an elevated pitch count in the early innings, he still managed to put up a quality start in a tough matchup against Atlanta on the road. This was also the longest start of Vasquez’ career. He lowered his ERA to 5.82 in five starts this year, though his xFIP is much lower at 4.45. It’s something for Vasquez to potentially build on even though he’s not usable in fantasy at the moment. The 25-year-old right-hander is scheduled to face the Yankees at home on Saturday.

  • Matt Olsen hits sixth homer against Padres
Matt Olson went 2-for-4 with a homer and two RBI versus the Padres in the first game of Monday’s doubleheader.

Advice: Olson’s homer, a no-doubter off Dylan Cease, was his sixth of the year. That’s way off last year’s pace, but his barrel and hard-hit rates are completely intact. There’s some bad luck involved here, but it also seems to be the case that balls just aren’t traveling as far this year as they did last season. Rotoworld Yesterday, 1:38 pm
  • Mets activate Tylor Megill from IL
Mets activated RHP Tylor Megill from the 15-day injured list.

Advice: Megill looked good in his last rehab outing, so the Mets have deemed him ready to face the Guardians on Monday night. He has made just one start this season, allowing two runs (one earned) on three hits in four innings with four strikeouts and three walks. The Mets will use a six-man rotation for the time being since they want to keep both Megill and Adrian Houser in the rotation. Rotoworld Yesterday, 12:03 pm
  • Activated from IL ahead of start
The Mets activated Megill (shoulder) from the 15-day injured list Monday.

Advice: Megill is set to rejoin the Mets' rotation Monday in Cleveland after missing all of April and much of May with a right shoulder strain. He was excellent during his rehab assignment, allowing just one earned run with a 23:1 K:BB over 14 innings. Megill threw 74 pitches in his fourth and final rehab start, so he should be good for 90 or so Monday. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 10:38 am
  • Wins after blown save
Clase (3-1) allowed an unearned run and struck out one batter in one inning of work Sunday against the Twins. He was charged with a blown save but earned the win.

Advice: Clase gave up the game-tying run on an error in the ninth inning, but Cleveland walked it off in the bottom half of the frame. It was his first blown save since April 16, and he's now 13 for 16 in save chances this season. He's fired 16.1 straight innings without allowing an earned run, dropping his season ERA to 0.39 with a 24:2 K:BB. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 7:03 am
