    • Swats 10th homer
Neto went 1-for-3 with a two-run home run in Monday's 5-3 win against Milwaukee.

Advice: Neto provided what turned out to be the winning margin with his two-run shot in the fourth inning. The long ball was his 10th of the season through 260 plate appearances, one more than he hit across 329 plate appearances as a rookie last year. Three of Neto's homers have come over his past six games, and he's produced seven RBI while batting .318 over that span. Rotowire.com Today, 12:18 am

    • Collects three hits Monday
Rojas went 3-for-5 with a double, two runs and an RBI against the Rockies in Monday's 9-5 victory.

Advice: With Mookie Betts going down with a fractured left hand Sunday and set to miss several weeks, Rojas appears primed for a near-everyday role at shortstop. He did his best Betts impression Monday, notching three hits for the third time this season and scoring twice. Naturally, fantasy managers shouldn't expect Rojas to come anywhere near Betts' level of production, though the former Miami Marlin is having a solid season at the dish with a .292/.339/.460 slash line, three homers, 10 doubles, 15 RBI, 15 runs and three stolen bases through 121 plate appearances. • Zach Neto homers to propel Angels past Brewers
Zach Neto hit a two-run homer Monday to lead the Angels to a 5-3 win over the Brewers.

Advice: Angels manager Ron Washington has utterly refused to hit Neto in the top half of the order, but the 23-year-old has been one of the team’s best players in batting .249/.297/.440 with 10 homers in 260 plate appearances. He’s not yet a finished product and it’s possible he’ll struggle to reach his true potential while playing for one of MLB’s most dysfunctional franchises, but the sky really is the limit here. • Miguel Rojas goes 3-for-5 in Dodgers’ victory
Miguel Rojas went 3-for-5 with a double and two runs scored against the Rockies on Monday.

Advice: Sure, Jazz Chisholm Jr. doesn’t seem to like him, but how badly did the Marlins botch things by trading Rojas for a prospect they didn’t even want a year and a half ago? Rojas is batting .292/.339/.460 in 121 plate appearances this season, and he’ll serve as the Dodgers’ primary shortstop while Mookie Betts is out. Meanwhile, the Marlins continue to roll with Tim Anderson, who might be the very worst player in the league. Rotoworld Yesterday, 9:08 pm

    • Greg Jones hits first MLB home run
Greg Jones hit his first major league homer as a pinch-hitter Monday against the Dodgers.

Advice: Jones, a longtime Rays prospect, took fellow former Rays pitcher JP Feyereisen deep tonight. It’s Jones’ first hit in five at-bats since his callup 11 days ago. The Rockies, who are suffering for their utter inability to manage a 40-man roster, have given Jones just one start since calling him up from Triple-A. All indications are that he’ll head back to the minors in the near future, but it still might make sense for Colorado to give him some at-bats in the meantime. Rotoworld Yesterday, 9:08 pm

    • Smacks go-ahead homer in extras
Winn went 2-for-6 with a two-run home run and a pair of runs scored in Monday's 7-6 win over the Marlins.

Advice: Winn took A.J. Puk deep in the top of the 12th to give St. Louis a two-run lead, which was the difference in the game as Miami tallied a run in the bottom of the frame. The shortstop has settled in nicely atop the Cardinals lineup, where he's batted in his past 11 appearances and 18 times overall this season. The counting stats are lagging a tad with only four home runs, 26 RBI, and eight steals through 65 contests, but the 22-year-old's .295/.339/.429 slash line is impressive. • Masyn Winn slugs go-ahead homer against Marlins
Masyn Winn clobbered a go-ahead two-run homer in the 12th inning on Monday, lifting the Cardinals to a 7-6 extra-inning victory over the Marlins.

Advice: Leading off for the sixth straight game, Winn came through with a clutch extra-inning blast off Marlins reliever A.J. Puk to put the Cardinals ahead for good in a back-and-forth affair at loanDepot park. It was his fourth long ball of the season and first time he’s left the yard since June 4. • Losing work to Wisely
Ahmed is out of the lineup for Monday's game against the Cubs.

Advice: Ahmed had served as the Giants' primary shortstop before landing on the injured list May 10 with a sprained left wrist, but he looks like he'll have to settle for a short-side platoon role now that he's healthy again. Since being activated Friday, the righty-hitting Ahmed has drawn two starts at shortstop -- both against lefties -- while the lefty-hitting Brett Wisely has occupied the position in two straight matchups with righties. Wisely has earned the larger portion of the timeshare at shortstop by slashing .313/.329/.478 over 23 games since being called up from Triple-A Sacramento. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 3:46 pm
    • Out 4-to-6 weeks
Lawlar is expected to miss 4-to-6 weeks after being diagnosed with a Grade 1 left hamstring strain, Nick Piecoro of the Arizona Republic reports.

Advice: Lawlar suffered the injury while legging out a triple for Triple-A Reno on Saturday. A Grade 1 strain is the least severe, but it's still going to cost the top prospect at least a month of action. Lawlar has played just 11 games this season, having previously missed time following surgery to repair ligament damage in his right thumb. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 2:25 pm
