      Estrada went 2-for-3 with a home run, a walk and four total RBI in Monday's 7-6 win against the Cubs.

      Advice: Estrada was hit by a pitch with the bases loaded in the top of the seventh inning to give San Francisco its first lead, though Chicago quickly re-took the lead in the bottom of the frame. The Giants remained behind until the ninth, when Estrada blasted a three-run homer that proved to be the game-winning hit. The long ball snapped a 20-game homerless stretch for the infielder.       Neris (6-2) took the loss and blew a save against the Giants on Monday, allowing three runs (two earned) on one hit and one walk while striking out one batter over one inning.

      Advice: Neris entered in the top of the ninth frame with Chicago leading by two runs. He got one out before Jorge Soler reached base on catcher's interference. Mike Yastrzemski followed with a walk before Thairo Estrada gave San Francisco the lead with a three-run homer. Though Neris retired the following two batters, the damage had been done, and the Cubs weren't able to mount a comeback in the bottom of the frame. The blown save was the fourth of the season for Neris and his third over his past seven chances.       Advice: The Cubs’ lead evaporated quickly in the ninth inning. With one out, Jorge Soler reached on a catcher interference.       Max Fried allowed one run in 5 1/3 innings and got a no-decision in the Braves’ 2-1 victory over the Tigers on Monday.



      Advice: Fried gave up four hits, walked three and struck out six. He left the game with two on and one out in the sixth inning, but Jesse Chavez escaped the jam without further damage. It was a solid start for Fried, though the Braves couldn’t provide him with any run support while he was in the game. He continues to have a nice season as he lowered his ERA to 3.11 with the effort. The 30-year-old left-hander is set to face the Yankees on the road this weekend.

      The Dodgers’ current guess is that Mookie Betts will miss 6-8 weeks with a fractured left hand.

      Dodgers manager Dave Roberts said Monday that the expectation is Betts (wrist) will be sidelined 6-to-8 weeks, Juan Toribio of MLB.com reports.

      Advice: The timeline is a rough estimate, as Roberts noted that much will depend on how Betts' fractured left wrist heals in the coming weeks. If Roberts' suggested timetable holds true, that means Betts will be out at least until late July. Miguel Rojas is expected to be the Dodgers' regular shortstop while Betts is on the shelf.
