Advice: Naylor secured a single in the first inning before notching a double and coming around to score in the third. He later added his 20th home run of the season in the bottom of the fourth frame, taking reliever Brendon Little deep for a solo shot, expanding Cleveland's lead to 6-3. Naylor has now tallied at least one hit in nine of the team's last 11 contests, batting .372 with four home runs, 11 RBI and eight runs scored over that stretch. Advice: Ortiz logged his second multi-hit effort in a row after going 11 contests without one. The infielder has maintained a strong .278/.383/.449 slash line with six home runs, five steals, 27 RBI, 31 runs scored, 13 doubles and two triples over 244 plate appearances this season. Advice: The Orioles' offense went from hot to cold in a hurry -- Westburg's home runs in back-to-back games are their only scoring plays in those contests. The infielder is still warm, going 16-for-57 (.280) over his last 14 games with four homers, four doubles, two triples and nine RBI in that span. Advice: The Twins haven't had much need for their bullpen this weekend, as Bailey Ober tossed a complete game Saturday and Pablo Lopez went eight innings Sunday. Jax hadn't pitched since Thursday, so he was a little fresher than Jhoan Duran, who last pitched Friday, which likely explains manager Rocco Baldelli's decision. Jax has done well in a high-leverage role this year, posting a 2.10 ERA, 0.90 WHIP and 46:8 K:BB over 34.1 innings. Advice: It sounds like it’s just a minor issue and the 28-year-old slugger won’t require a trip to the injured list. While his pace has cooled over the last few weeks, Fry has still been a force in the middle of the Guardians’ lineup this season — slashing .312/.429/.526 with eight homers, 31 RBI and four stolen bases in only 189 plate appearances. Griffin Jax closes out Athletics on SundayGriffin Jax registered his seventh save of the season on Sunday afternoon, working a scoreless ninth inning to protect a three-run lead against the Athletics.
Advice: It’s the second straight week that Jax has secured a save on Sunday. Jhoan Duran threw 19 pitches in a blown save against the A’s on Friday night, but neither of the two hurlers worked during Saturday’s game, so it was a bit surprising to see Jax and not Duran to close this one out. Other than posting elite ratios and nabbing the occasional save though, it’s hard to count on Jax for much more from a fantasy perspective while Duran is still the primary option in the ninth inning. Jordan Westburg homers (again) in lossJordan Westburg went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in a loss to the Astros on Sunday.
Advice: Just like on Saturday, Westburg homered but the Orioles offense couldn’t do much else. Westburg now has 13 home runs and 45 RBI so far on the season; however, he did also strike out twice on Sunday and his batting average is down to .277 on the season. Westburg swings often so it doesn’t always matter that he swings and misses a lot, but he will have stretches where those whiffs drag the batting average down a bit. Josh Naylor with three more hits, home runJosh Naylor went 3-for-5 with a home run, double, and two runs scored on Sunday in a 6-5 win over the Blue Jays.

Starling Marte out Sunday with ongoing knee issueStarling Marte (knee) is not in the lineup for Sunday night’s showdown against the Cubs.
Advice: New York’s front office hasn’t made a roster move yet, so it doesn’t sound like Marte is ticketed for the injured list after leaving Saturday’s game with right knee soreness.
