• Jackson Chourio has HR, three RBI in win
Jackson Chourio went 2-for-4 with a home run on three RBI in a 6-3 win over the White Sox on Sunday.

Advice: Chourio got the Brewers on the board in the second inning by socking a three-run home run 385 feet at 102.5 mph off the bat. It was his sixth home run of the season, and he now has 19 RBI on the year. Chourio has an elevated strikeout rate which has helped keep his batting average down, but he has shown a fantasy-friendly profile with the six home runs and seven steals. It may not fully click this year for the 20-year-old, but the future is certainly bright. Rotoworld Today, 2:05 pm

  • Paul DeJong homers in loss to Brewers
Paul DeJong went 1-for-2 with a solo home run in a loss to the Brewers.

Advice: DeJong now has nine home runs on the season, which includes six of the last 23 games. His batting average remains low, and he can thank his 35 percent strikeout rate for that, but he’s also barreling the ball well and providing a decent amount of power which makes him a solid middle infield option in deeper fantasy leagues. • Wilyer Abreu getting treatment on his ankle
Red Sox’ manager Alex Cora told reporters after Sunday’s loss to the Tigers that Wilyer Abreu is getting treatment on his ankle.

Advice: The 24-year-old outfielder slipped down the dugout steps late in the game and appeared to roll his ankle. He stayed in the game though, until he was pinch-hit for against left-hander Andrew Chafin in the ninth inning. It doesn’t sound like it’s anything serious, but still something that fantasy managers should take note of heading into next week. Rotoworld Today, 1:54 pm

  • Going through concussion protocol
Orioles manager Brandon Hyde said Mateo is going through the concussion protocol after exiting Sunday's game versus the Rays, Jake Rill of MLB.com reports.

Advice: Mateo was struck in the head by the bat of teammate Cedric Mullins around the on-deck circle and was subsequently removed from the contest. It remains to be seen if Mateo will miss additional time, and he should be considered day-to-day as he continues to be evaluated. Rotowire.com Today, 1:49 pm

  • Ketel Marte homers twice in win
Ketel Marte starred Sunday going 3-for-3 with two home runs, a double, two runs scored, three RBI, and a walk in a 5-4 win over the Mets.

Advice: Marte started this game by taking José Quintana deep and ended it by homering off of Jake Diekman to put the Diamondbacks ahead. He’s already up to 12 long balls in 58 games on the season after hitting 25 all of last year and looks to be heading towards the best power output of his career. Rotoworld Today, 1:48 pm

  • Jorge Mateo placed in concussion protocol Sunday
Orioles’ manager Brandon Hyde told reporters after Sunday’s game that Jorge Mateo is in the concussion protocol.

Advice: The 28-year-old was hit in the head by Cedric Mullins’ bat in the on-deck circle during Sunday’s contest against the Rays. He’ll have to pass through the concussion protocol before he’s able to return to game action. That’s probably going to cost him at least a couple of days, and it’s possible that he winds up on the 7-day concussion injured list. Rotoworld Today, 1:36 pm

  • Kyle Isbel leaves game after collision on Sunday
Kyle Isbel was pulled from Sunday afternoon’s game against the Padres with a non-concussive head and neck injury.

Advice: Isbel collided with teammate Bobby Witt and appeared to take a flying knee from the superstar shortstop right to his head. He remained in the game to finish the inning, but they ultimately thought better of it and decided to remove him. It sounds like a day-to-day type of situation, but fantasy managers should be sure to pay attention to his status over the next couple of days. Rotoworld Today, 1:31 pm

  • Jose Miranda homers, knocks in two to lead Twins
Jose Miranda had a solo homer and an RBI double in helping the Twins edge the Astros 4-3 on Sunday.

Advice: If there was any chance of Miranda being the countermove for Royce Lewis on Tuesday, it vanished today. He was probably sticking around anyway, even though Lewis is going to supplant him at third base. That’ll turn Miranda into more of a DH and first baseman. Miranda is batting an impressive .280/.311/.469 in 151 plate appearances, though Statcast thinks he’s been pretty fortunate to sport that line. Rotoworld Today, 1:21 pm

  • Jorge Mateo leaves with apparent head injury
Jorge Mateo left Sunday’s game against the Rays with an apparent head injury.

Advice: Mateo appeared to be hit in the head when he was struck in the head accidentally by Cedric Mullins in the on-deck circle. Ramon Urias pinch-hit for him after. There should be an update on Mateo’s status by the end of the game. Rotoworld Today, 11:49 am
