    • Collects 22nd save
Clase tossed a perfect ninth inning Thursday, striking out one to earn the save against Seattle.

Advice: Clase had allowed earned runs in consecutive appearances on June 9 and 11 but has regained his form since, tossing his third consecutive clean outing to close out the game for the Guardians. Clase ranks first in the American League with 22 saves, ranking behind only Ryan Helsley of the Cardinals who has 24 to lead the major leagues. Through 35.1 innings this season, Clase has allowed only three earned runs for an ERA of 0.76 with a 0.62 WHIP and 36 strikeouts. Rotowire.com 3 minutes ago
    • Fermin mashes two home runs in win Thursday
Freddy Fermin went 3-for-4 with two solo home runs against the Athletics on Thursday.

Advice: Fermin’s two home runs were the difference in the Royals’ 3-2 win on Thursday. He’s now hitting .303 with a .799 OPS in 132 at-bats on the season. Fermin is still just the backup catcher in Kansas City and not a priority in fantasy. Rotoworld Today, 3:55 pm
    • Lugo allows two runs in no-decision on Thursday
Seth Lugo allowed two runs in 6 2/3 innings and got a no-decision in the Royals’ 3-2 victory over the Athletics on Thursday.

Advice: Lugo gave up six hits, walked three and struck out eight. He allowed a two-run game-tying home run to Zack Gelof in the seventh inning, but it was still another solid effort from Lugo. The 34-year-old right-hander is set to face the Marlins at home next week.

    • Fernando Tatis Jr. in lineup Thursday vs. Brewers
Fernando Tatis Jr. is in the lineup for Thursday’s game against the Brewers.

Advice: Tatis got a day off earlier this week to address a lingering quad issue that he’s been playing through for the last few weeks. It’s possible the nagging issue has impacted his performance recently as he’s batting .130 (3-for-23) over his last seven games. Rotoworld Today, 3:00 pm
    • Stone gives up two runs in win over Rockies
Gavin Stone allowed two runs in 5 1/3 innings and got the win in the Dodgers’ 5-3 victory over the Rockies on Thursday.

Advice: Stone gave up four hits, walked two and struck out seven. Both runs came on a Jake Cave two-run single in the sixth inning. The win was Stone’s eighth of the year and he’s now won four of his last five starts. He’s also struck out at least six batters in four of his last five starts. The 25-year-old right-hander is set to face the White Sox on the road next week. Rotoworld Today, 2:53 pm

    • Emmanuel Clase gets 22nd save against Mariners
Emmanuel Clase hurled a scoreless ninth to pick up a save against the Mariners on Thursday.

Advice: It’s already the 22nd save of the season for Clase, and the hunt for a 50-save season is certainly on. The right-hander didn’t allow a hit and procured a strikeout, and the scoreless frame puts his ERA at a dazzling 0.76. A spectacular season for Clase, and there’s every reason to believe he can keep it going through the second half of the campaign. Rotoworld Today, 12:39 pm
    • Jasson Domínguez out two months with oblique strain
According to Yankees manager Aaron Boone, Jasson Domínguez will miss up to eight weeks with an oblique strain.

Advice: We knew an oblique strain would keep Domínguez out for at least a couple weeks, but this is an extensive period of time and one that could threaten his ability to contribute big-league at-bats this season. If Domínguez doesn’t return to minor league action until late August and then gets a couple of weeks to get his timing back at Triple-A, it would be September even before the Yankees can think about promoting him. If all goes well, he could be a candidate for a mid-September call-up, but the Yankees would then be thrusting him into a major role in the middle of a pennant race after missing a major chunk of time. It’s a shame because he was looking great after Tommy John surgery, hitting .356/.404/.609 with six homers and 13 RBIs in 23 games across three levels. Rotoworld Today, 12:05 pm

    • Out eight weeks at Triple-A
Yankees manager Aaron Boone said Thursday that Dominguez will be out for up to eight weeks at Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre due to a "significant" left oblique strain, Gary Phillips of the New York Daily News reports.

Advice: Boone labeled Dominguez's oblique strain as "moderate" Wednesday, but the injury now appears to be more severe than the Yankees initially believed. The 21-year-old outfielder already missed the first two-plus months of the Triple-A season while recovering from Tommy John surgery, and an eight-week return timeline will keep him out of action until at least mid-August. • Receiving Thursday off
Langeliers is out of the lineup for Thursday's game against the Royals.

Advice: Kyle McCann will draw the start behind the dish while Langeliers rests for a day game after a night game. Langeliers went 0-for-7 with four strikeouts over the first two games of the series with Kansas City, bringing his batting average down to .198 for the season. Rotowire.com Today, 9:58 am
