    • Anthony Rizzo sitting Sunday vs. Tigers
Anthony Rizzo is not in the lineup for Sunday’s game against the Tigers.

Advice: Rizzo will get a day off a day after hitting a three-run homer. The 34-year-old will get a break with Oswaldo Cabrera getting a start across the diamond at first base and Jon Berti handling third. Rotoworld Yesterday, 7:32 am
    • Receiving Sunday off
Rizzo is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Tigers.

Advice: Rizzo started the Yankees' first 35 games of the season but will receive his first day off Sunday, giving him two straight days of rest since a team day off follows Monday. Oswaldo Cabrera is stepping in at first base while Jon Berti starts at the hot corner. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 7:30 am
    • Anthony Rizzo swats three-run homer vs. Tigers
Anthony Rizzo went 2-for-4 with a three-run homer Saturday to help the Yankees to a 5-3 win over the Tigers.

Advice: Rizzo extended the Yankees’ lead to 5-1 with a three-run blast off Casey Mize. The 34-year-old also singled, and the pair of hits bumps his average to .263. Rizzo got off to a poor start, but he’s starting to come around with an OPS that has gone up over 150 points over the last two weeks. Rotoworld Saturday, 12:48 pm
    • Anthony Rizzo delivers walk-off winner on Friday
Anthony Rizzo smacked an RBI single off of Jason Foley in the ninth inning on Friday night, propelling the Yankees to a 2-1 walk-off victory over the Tigers.

Advice: The Yankees had come up empty through eight innings against Reese Olson and a host of Tigers’ relievers. They finally got the bats going in the ninth though, as Aaron Judge singled, Alex Verdugo dropped down a bunt single and Giancarlo Stanton smacked an RBI double to start the inning. Rizzo then followed by poking a ball through the drawn in infield to walk it off. The 34-year-old slugger finished the night 1-for-3 plus a walk and is now hitting .256/.324/.403 with five homers and 17 RBI on the season. Rotoworld Friday, 7:13 pm
    • Getting breather Wednesday
Turner is out of the lineup for Wednesday's tilt versus the Royals.

Advice: It's a routine maintenance day for Turner, who hit two home runs in the series opener Monday before going hitless Tuesday. Daniel Vogelbach will serve as the designated hitter Wednesday and also occupy the cleanup spot. Rotowire.com Wednesday, 8:06 am

    • Clubs pair of homers
Turner went 2-for-5 with a two-run home run and a solo home run during Monday's 6-5 win over the Royals.

Advice: Turner dominated Royals starter Jonathan Bowlan -- who was making his second career start -- notching home runs off him in the first and third innings. The contest doubled Turner's 2024 home run total and was his first multi-homer game since June of 2023. Through 28 games, Turner is slashing .311/.390/.533 with 15 RBI and 15 runs scored. • Justin Turner homers twice in win vs. Royals
Justin Turner went 2-for-5 with two home runs and three RBI in Monday’s 6-5 win against the Royals.

Advice: Turner has dominated the Royals this season. In five games against Kansas City this season, Turner is 6-for-14 (.429 AVG) with two homers and four RBI. It was the 39-year-old’s first multi HR game since last June when he hit two round trippers against the Yankees. Turner is boasting a .923 OPS through 28 games this season and if he’s producing like this, he’ll be a great addition to fantasy managers given he wasn’t much of a hot commodity heading into the season. • Few concerns about slump
Olson hasn't hit a home run in 18 straight games, slashing .167/.291/.242 over that stretch with three doubles, one triple and seven RBI, but he remains among the league leaders in key hitting metrics, David O'Brien of The Athletic reports.

Advice: Despite the first baseman's lack of production in April, Olson sits in the 97th percentile in hard-hit rate and average exit velocity on the season, numbers comparable to what he posted during his career-best 2023 campaign. It seems only a matter of time before the 30-year-old gets dialed in and begins racking up hits and homers. Rotowire.com Apr 29, 7:04 am

    • Remains red-hot Sunday
Rizzo went 4-for-4 with a two-run home run, two doubles, a walk and three runs scored in Sunday's 15-5 win over the Brewers.

Advice: Rizzo was once again spectacular Sunday, ripping a double in his first at-bat, before later adding another double, a single and a two-run homer later in the contest. The long ball was his fifth of the season, and he has now gone deep in back-to-back games and four times in his last six contests. Rizzo is batting .277 with five home runs, 15 RBI and 15 runs scored over 112 at-bats in 29 games in 2024. Rotowire.com Apr 28, 6:15 pm
