      Bobby Miller (shoulder) surrendered five runs over 4 2/3 innings on Thursday in a minor league rehab start for Triple-A Oklahoma City.

      Advice: Miller struck out four, issued three walks, and threw 93 pitches (51 strikes) in his fourth and likely final rehab start as he completes his lengthy rehabilitation process from a right shoulder injury. The positive news here is that he averaged 97.4 mph on his four-seam fastball. Unfortunately, he got hit pretty hard and struggled to find the strike zone in this one.       Jazz Chisholm Jr. went 2-for-4 with a home run and a stolen base against the Mets on Thursday.

      Rizzo went 1-for-3 with a solo home run and a walk in Thursday's 4-3 loss to the Royals.

      Advice: The first baseman snapped a streak of 27 games without a long ball when he took John Schreiber deep in the eighth inning. Rizzo received back-to-back days off earlier this week for a mental reset, and he entered Thursday's game in a 2-for-37 slump during June.
