• Two hits, steal in win
Canzone went 2-for-4 with one RBI, one stolen base and one run scored in Saturday's 7-5 win over the Rangers.

Advice: Canzone got in the lineup for the first time since Wednesday, since the Mariners faced left-handed starters Thursday and Friday. The outfielder was productive Saturday, contributing an RBI single in the third inning as well as his first steal of the season. Over 103 plate appearances, he's posted a middling .207/.282/.435 slash line with six home runs, 11 RBI, 10 runs scored and three doubles. Canzone will typically occupy a corner outfield spot and bat in the bottom third of the order versus right-handers. Rotowire.com 7 minutes ago

  • Jake Cave triples, plates three in blowout win
Jake Cave went 3-for-5 with a triple and three RBI in a blowout win for the Rockies on Saturday over the Pirates.

Advice: Cave doubled in two in the fourth off Jared Jones, and singled in another run in the seventh. The triple was the third of the season for the speedy 31-year-old outfielder. Rotoworld 32 minutes ago

  • Toglia hits grand slam as Rockies clobber Pirates
Michael Toglia hit a grand slam in a blowout victory for the Rockies over the Pirates on Saturday.

Advice: Toglia turned a comfortable lead of 11-4 into a certified blowout with his grand slam off Dennis Santana. It’s the second time he’s cleared the bases and made it home on the same play in 2024, but the other one was a Little League slam against the Cardinals. Toglia has been awful thus far in his MLB career, and isn’t likely to have too many efforts like this even playing his home games in Colorado. Rotoworld 33 minutes ago

  • Hunter Goodman homers twice, drives in five
Hunter Goodman homered twice, picked up four hits and drove in five runs in a 16-4 shellacking of the Pirates on Saturday.

Advice: Goodman also scored three runs in a monster game for the 24-year-old. There haven’t been many for the infielder/backstop, but he showed off his impressive raw power with a pair of homers to center; one a solo shot and the other a two-run blast. Even with the big effort Goodman is only hitting .203/.247/.449, but that pop and his friendly home confines certainly make him a name to keep an eye on. Rotoworld 34 minutes ago

  • Gavin Lux drives home two in loss to Royals
Gavin Lux drove in two runs in a loss Saturday to the Dodgers.

Advice: Lux was responsible for the only runs of the game for the Dodgers with a two-run single off Seth Lugo in the fourth. The 26-year-old still is scuffling with a slash of .215/.266/.285 over 186 at-bats. Rotoworld 47 minutes ago

  • MJ Melendez hits grand slam in win over Dodgers
MJ Melendez hit a grand slam to help the Royals to a 7-2 win over the Dodgers on Saturday.

Advice: WIth the bases full, Melendez took Blake Treinen deep to give the Royals a 5-2 lead. The 25-year-old outfielder has been a significant disappointment in 2024, but he’s at least starting to show some pop with three homers in the month of June; all of them coming in the last eight games. • Swats homer Saturday
McCormick went 1-for-2 with a three-run home run in Saturday's 13-5 loss to the Tigers.

Advice: McCormick didn't start Saturday against right-hander Jack Flaherty. McCormick was still able to make an impact in the lopsided loss with a homer in the seventh inning after replacing Yordan Alvarez in left field. The long ball was McCormick's first of the season, though he's managed three extra-base hits over his last five contests. The 29-year-old is slashing .209/.273/.291 with 12 RBI, 10 runs scored and three stolen bases over 121 plate appearances, and he's unlikely to make a consistent impact while occupying a short-side platoon role. • Goes deep in win
Vierling went 2-for-4 with a solo home run and an additional run scored in Saturday's 13-5 win over the Astros.

Advice: Vierling has homered twice over his last four contests, though both were solo shots that represent his only RBI since May 29. The outfielder is batting a modest .196 (10-for-51) over 12 contests in June, though he's still often hitting in the top third of the Tigers' lineup. Vierling is at a .266/.305/.468 slash line with nine homers, 30 RBI, 30 runs scored, nine doubles, four triples and no stolen bases through 63 games this year. Rotowire.com Today, 8:29 pm

  • Randy Arozarena homers in loss to Braves
Randy Arozarena went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in a loss to the Braves on Saturday.

Advice: Arozarena was hitless until a 403-foot big fly in the ninth inning. It was his ninth of the season and just his 21st RBI all year. The 29-year-old also struck out once and is hitting just .175/.284/.325 on the year. While the overall numbers are bad, there are no glaring red flags to point to. He’s swinging and missing slightly more and is perhaps being a bit too passive this season, potentially leading to worse overall contact quality. There is not much fantasy managers can do but hold on. Rotoworld Today, 7:12 pm
