• Jesús Sánchez crushes a long home run in win
Jesús Sánchez went 1-for-3 with a loud solo home run, walk, and two runs scored on Sunday in a 6-4 win over the Mariners.

Advice: Sánchez parked a Bryce Miller fastball an estimated 429 feet to right-center field. The ball was hit so high and so hard there was a brief moment where it looked like it would clank off the roof at loanDepot park. He’s in the midst of a power surge with three home runs over his last seven games. Rotoworld Yesterday, 1:26 pm
  • Luke Raley with three hits, homer in loss
Luke Raley went 3-for-4 with a home run, two RBI, and two runs scored on Sunday against the Marlins.

Advice: The Mariners were down 6-0 early Sunday and Raley did everything he could to drag them back in the game. He’s put a miserable April behind him and brought his full-season slash line up to .263/.310/.463 with nine home runs and five stolen bases. Rotoworld Yesterday, 1:25 pm

  • Starting Sunday
Grisham will start in center field and bat ninth in Sunday's series finale against Atlanta.

Advice: Grisham will enter the lineup as a replacement for Giancarlo Stanton (hamstring), who was placed on the injured list with a left hamstring strain. Aaron Judge will occupy Stanton's typical spot at designated hitter, while Grisham claims Judge's vacated spot in the outfield. Though the lefty-hitting Grisham is starting Sunday against Atlanta southpaw Max Fried, the Yankees could look to deploy Grisham primarily against right-handed pitching during Stanton's absence. While seeing sporadic playing time this season, Grisham enters Sunday's contest with a .113/.263/.306 slash line across 76 plate appearances. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 7:40 am
  • Ends hitless skid
Friedl went 2-for-5 in Saturday's 4-3 loss to Boston.

Advice: Friedl's fifth-inning single snapped an 0-for-16 run. Later in the same inning, Friedl was thrown out at home trying to score on an infield grounder -- one of three baserunning miscues in the game. After missing most of the first two months of the season due to injuries, Friedl is healthy and has started 19 of the 21 games since returning from a second stint on the injured list in late May. • Back at third base for now
Smith started at third base and went 2-for-3 with a solo home run in Saturday's 6-0 win over Kansas City.

Advice: Smith made a second consecutive start in the field after serving as a designated hitter for a pair of games. He had been dealing with a hamstring injury that forced him to miss four games before returning as the DH. Now that he's back in the field, the question becomes how long he will be there. Third baseman Josh Jung (wrist) rejoined the team Friday and will take live batting practice Tuesday. If all goes well, Jung could be activated off the 60-day injured list afterward. The Rangers would like to keep Smith's bat in the lineup; he's batting .304/.393/.469 over a career-high 259 plate appearances. The lefty hitter could serve as the primary DH; he owns an .857 OPS against lefties and an .863 OPS against righties this season. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 4:36 am

  • Pops homer off bench
Grisham went 1-for-2 with a solo home run in Saturday's 8-3 win over Atlanta.

Advice: Grisham has gone 5-for-23 over 11 games in June, with three of those hits being homers. The outfielder has functioned in a reserve role for much of the season, and he's done little to deserve anything more than that. The 27-year-old is slashing a paltry .113/.263/.306 with four homers, 10 RBI, seven runs scored and no stolen bases through 76 plate appearances. Giancarlo Stanton (hamstring) is set to miss time after exiting Saturday's game, but it's unclear if Grisham will see much of an uptick in playing time. Rotowire.com Saturday, 8:43 pm
  • Trent Grisham goes deep in victory over Braves
Trent Grisham went 1-for-2 with a solo homer as the Yankees triumphed over the Braves on Saturday evening.

Advice: Grisham entered the game as a pinch-hitter for Giancarlo Stanton in the sixth inning where he went down on strikes. He then swatted a 348-foot solo shot off of Jesse Chavez in the seventh that capped off the scoring in the ballgame. On the season, the 27-year-old outfielder is now hitting .111/.260/.302 with four homers and 10 RBI. Rotoworld Saturday, 7:31 pm
  • Homers, drives in two in win
Morel went 2-for-4 with a home run, two RBI and two runs scored in Saturday's 8-1 win over the Mets.

Advice: Morel hit an RBI single in the first inning and crushed a 446-foot solo home run in the third. Morel's .209 average so far in June is actually his highest in any month this season, and the homer was his fourth in 19 June games. The 24-year-old is batting just .202 to date but does have 14 home runs and 43 RBI over 267 at-bats in 2024. Rotowire.com Saturday, 6:43 pm

  • Smith belts sixth home run in win Saturday
Josh Smith went 2-for-3 with a solo home run against the Royals on Saturday.

Advice: Smith’s home run was his sixth of the year. He’s 15-for-37 (.405) with three home runs, eight RBI and a stolen base in his last 13 games. Smith has stood out on the Rangers offense and found his way to the No. 3 spot in the lineup. Given Texas’ other options, they’ll continue to find playing time for him as long as he’s producing like this. Rotoworld Saturday, 3:46 pm
