    Neto was removed from Wednesday's game against the Astros in the bottom of the fifth inning with an apparent injury, Jeff Fletcher of The Orange County Register reports.

    Advice: Neto made a high throw to first base and was removed from the game shortly therafter. It's not clear what injury Neto might be dealing with, but the Angels should have an update on the shortstop's status soon. Neto went 0-for-2 with a strikeout before being lifted. While he might not have eclipsed Oswaldo Cabrera on the depth chart just yet, Berti has been poaching more work of late from Cabrera, who has mustered an underwhelming .626 OPS since the beginning of May. Both Berti and Cabrera will likely see their playing time suffer when DJ LeMahieu (foot) -- who is currently in the midst of a rehab assignment -- likely returns from the 10-day injured list next week. Gonzalez took a while to adjust to the pros after being selected seventh overall in the 2020 Draft, but the 24-year-old seems to be coming into his own -- after erupting for a 1.039 OPS in 30 games for Triple-A Indianapolis prior to his promotion, he's produced a .282/.310/.462 slash line in 11 contests for Pittsburgh with two homers, one steal, five runs and nine RBI.     Nick Gonzales went 2-for-5 with a game-winning single in a 7-6 win over the Giants in 10 innings on Tuesday.

    Advice: The 24-year-old laced a 98 mph single off Erik Miller to score the game-winning run after David Bednar stranded the inherited runner on second in the top half of the inning. Gonzales is now hitting .282/.310/.462 with nine RBI in 11 games since being called up from Triple-A. Considering he had also made some real strides in his plate discipline at Triple-A and was hitting .358 in 30 games, Gonzales might be worth an add in deeper formats while he’s playing every day in Pittsburgh.
