    Advice: After drawing a walk in the first inning, Morel took Tobias Myers deep for a two-run homer in the third to extend the Cubs lead. Morel can certainly hit homers in bunches, as he’s now gone yard in three straight games and four of his last six. The 24-year-old third baseman is slashing .213/.292/.426 with seven homers, 20 runs scored, 20 RBI, and three steals across 137 plate appearances. Despite the low batting average, Morel has significantly cut down his strikeout rate so far this season, a good sign that we can see his numbers improve as we get into the summer.     Max Kepler went 2-for-4 and swatted a solo home run on Saturday, helping to lead the Twins to a 3-1 victory over the visiting Red Sox.

    Advice: Kepler broke a 1-1 tie when he smashed a 405-foot (101.1 mph EV) solo shot off of Cam Booser in the fourth inning. He also singled in the sixth inning but wound up stranded on second base. All Kepler has done is hit since returning from the injured list, and with his two-hit attack on Saturday he’s now slashing .273/.339/.418 with a pair of long balls and 11 RBI in his first 16 games.     Wilyer Abreu went 2-for-4 and drove in the Red Sox’ lone run in Saturday afternoon’s loss to the Twins.

    Advice: The Red Sox got something going early in this one, as Tyler O’Neill smacked a two-out double off of Pablo López in the opening inning. Abreu followed with a run-scoring single that gave his squad an early 1-0 advantage. That would be their only run in the ballgame. Abreu also singled in the game, collecting two of his team’s eight total hits.
