      Advice: Volpe kicked off the contest with a leadoff homer against Twins starter Joe Ryan for his sixth round-tripper of the year. He also picked up his ninth stolen base of the season a couple frames later.       Anthony Volpe went 2-for-5 with a double and an RBI in Tuesday’s win over the Twins.



      Advice: Volpe doubled in the second inning to drive home Gleyber Torres, giving the Yankees their second run of the inning and an early 2-1 lead.       Red Sox manager Alex Cora told reporters Tuesday that Vaughn Grissom lost 14 pounds due to illness earlier this month.

      Advice: This certainly helps explain some of his struggles out of the gate as he’s batting .152 (5-for-33) with one extra-base hit and two RBI through eight games in his Red Sox debut. It’s been a strange few injury-plagued months for the 23-year-old middle infielder since arriving in Boston in the Chris Sale trade.       Advice: Volpe was the only Yankee to stand out offensively in the loss -- he was responsible for three of the team's five hits, plated both of the club's runs on a second-inning single and added a stolen base to boot. The young shortstop has reached base safely via hit or walk in nine straight contests, slashing .286/.375/.486 with two homers, seven RBI, seven runs and a 5:11 BB:K over that span.
