      Yainer Diaz went 3-for-4 with a pair of RBI on Wednesday in the Astros’ win over the Rockies.

      Advice: Diaz opened the scoring with a run-scoring single off Rockies starter Ryan Feltner in the fourth inning before tacking on another RBI single a couple frames later to give Houston a six-run advantage at the time. The 25-year-old backstop got off to a frosty start this season at the dish, but he’s rounded into form of late, batting .351 (20-for-57) with two homers and one steal over his past 15 games.       Perez went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in Monday's 4-1 win over the Marlins.

      Advice: Perez had gone 0-for-14 over his previous four games, and he'd gone seven contests without an extra-base hit. Both droughts ended when the catcher went back-to-back with Vinnie Pasquantino in the fourth inning, with Perez's homer serving as the decisive run. A poor June -- 11-for-57 (.157) over 20 games -- has taken some of the shine off of what was a strong start to the year for Perez.       Advice: Perez’ home run was his 11th of the season and second in the month of June. Perez has cooled off this month. He’s 11-for-70 (.157) in June with two home runs and five RBI.
